Loose Women confirms Bake Off star for special episode

In an exciting development, the talk show Loose Women will be featuring a new special later this month. A well-known contestant from The Great British Baking Show, for the first time, will join the panelists.

To honor the 70th anniversary of ITV, the special edition show “Loose Women 70+” will assemble a panel consisting of women in their 70s and beyond: Janet Street-Porter, Lesley Joseph, Gloria Hunniford, and Prue Leith.

As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I invite you to celebrate along with us the 70th birthday of ITV! Let’s also get acquainted with the dynamic quartet of wisdom on “Loose Women,” affectionately known as their panel of power-agers.

Initially, Prue, a newcomer on the panel, remarked: “Here we are, over 70 in number – imparting some valuable life lessons we’ve gathered throughout our journey.” Meanwhile, Lesley playfully suggested: “We’ll uncover our methods for graceful aging, or perhaps not-so-graceful, if you prefer!

In a statement, the editor Sally Shelford noted: “For a quarter of a century, ‘Loose Women’ has reflected the lives of its audience members, as our insightful panelists have opened up about their personal stories and guided discussions on the matters that resonate deeply with our viewers.

For our unique, 70th anniversary program on ITV, we’re thrilled to have Lesley and Prue join Janet and Gloria as panelists. This extraordinary episode will shed light on significant matters while honoring the essence of turning 70 and 80 in today’s world.

Featuring a wealth of experiences and tales from life, you’ll encounter captivating anecdotes, sincere guidance, and plenty of amusing moments throughout.

The special episode will air next month, on Tuesday, February 28.

More recently, longtime “Loose Women” panelist Ruth Langsford discussed the prospect of rejoining “This Morning,” a show she last hosted in the year 2022.

Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
