Lola Young made a triumphant return to performing live on Thursday, appearing at the Spotify Best New Artist party in West Hollywood, California. This was her first performance since she had to cancel her recent tour.
The 24-year-old singer looked fantastic as she performed her popular 2025 song, ‘d£aler,’ for a large crowd of fans. This was her first performance since she fell ill on stage last September.
For the performance, Lola wore a black VAQUERA crown-style top with fashionable grey wide-leg trousers.
She made herself look taller with pointy white heels and finished the outfit with a wide black belt.
The singer, known for her hit ‘Messy,’ seemed completely comfortable and confident while performing the song on stage at The Lot at Formosa in Los Angeles. The stage was softly lit, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
This performance was her first since announcing she was ending her tour and stepping away from public life. The announcement came after she briefly collapsed while performing, causing fans to worry.
During a performance at a New York festival last September, the singer was helped off stage by staff. She later let her fans know that she was okay.
Just a few days later, Lola announced to her fans that she needed to take some time for herself and would be canceling her upcoming tour dates for the time being.
The artist behind the hit song ‘Messy’ was scheduled to perform in the UK, starting with a show in Manchester on October 6th, and then continuing to Birmingham and London.
‘Thank you for all the love and support.
‘I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.
‘Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.
I’m hoping for another chance after I’ve had time to improve and become a better version of myself. Sending my love to everyone, Lola.
As many of you know, I’ve been following Lola’s situation closely, and sadly, she’s had to cancel her Washington D.C. performance. This comes after a health scare in New York just the day before, and she needs to prioritize her recovery right now. We’re all sending her our best wishes!
She announced on Instagram that she unfortunately won’t be able to perform at All Things Go in Washington, D.C. today.
I truly enjoy my work and deeply value my audience, so it’s with regret that I share this news, knowing some may be disappointed.
I’m hoping for another opportunity to earn your trust in the future. I appreciate everyone who has listened and shown support. And to those who enjoy being unkind online, could you please give me a break for today?
Lola experienced a health scare shortly after mentioning she’d been having a difficult time and wasn’t certain she’d be able to make it to the festival.
She shared with the audience that she’d been having a difficult time recently, admitting there were moments she felt like giving up. But she explained that she ultimately chose to come and perform anyway.
The singer, famous for her 2024 song “Messy,” experienced a scary incident while performing “Conceited” at Forest Hills stadium.
Shortly after the incident at All Things Go, Lola posted on Instagram to let her fans know she was alright. She thanked everyone for their support.
