Lola Young had to cancel a performance in Washington DC after feeling unwell and collapsing on stage during her recent concert in New York.
The 24-year-old singer collapsed during her performance at the All Things Go Music Festival on Saturday and was helped off stage by medical personnel. She later let her fans know she was doing okay.
Unfortunately, she had to cancel her performance at the Washington DC stop of the festival on Sunday.
She announced on Instagram that she unfortunately can’t perform at All Things Go in Washington, D.C. today.
I truly enjoy my work and deeply value my audience, so it’s with regret that I share this news, knowing some may be disappointed.
I’m hoping for another opportunity to earn your trust in the future. I’m grateful for everyone who has listened and shown support. And to those who enjoy being unkind online, could you please give me a break for today?

Lola experienced a health scare shortly after mentioning she’d been having a difficult time and wasn’t certain she’d be able to make it to the festival.
She shared with the audience that she’d been through a difficult time recently, admitting there were moments she felt like giving up. But ultimately, she chose to come and perform.
The singer, famous for her 2024 song “Messy,” experienced a frightening incident while performing “Conceited” at Forest Hills Stadium.
Shortly after the incident at All Things Go, Lola posted on Instagram to let her fans know she was alright. She thanked everyone for their support and well wishes.
I was so worried when I heard about her sudden health scare! It all started after she had to cancel her concert on Friday, and her team said it was because of a ‘sensitive matter.’ It’s been really unclear what’s going on, and everyone’s hoping for good news.
Lola’s manager, Nick Shymansky, shared on social media that sometimes he and his team need to take steps to protect her safety.
She’s a truly dedicated artist who always puts her fans, work, and performances first. I sincerely apologize for any trouble this has caused.
The Daily Mail has contacted Lola’s representatives for comment.

Lola revealed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed at the age of 17 with schizoaffective disorder.
In a recent Instagram post, she shared that she’s struggling to express how deeply a recent diagnosis has impacted her life and changed the way she sees the world.
‘I have struggled immensely learning to accept this part of myself, and I am still learning.
I often need to remind myself that I’m just a normal human being, capable of amazing things like everyone else. My mental health challenges don’t define who I am – in fact, I see them as a source of strength.
Schizoaffective disorder is a mental health condition that combines symptoms of schizophrenia – like seeing or hearing things that aren’t there, and having false beliefs – with mood problems such as depression or periods of unusually high energy and excitement (mania or hypomania), according to the NHS.
She realized at 17 that her long-held belief that she had clinical depression and bipolar disorder was incorrect.
She shared that she had an uncle with schizophrenia on both her mother’s and father’s sides of the family, and sadly, both had passed away.

Lola thought her health issue might have been caused, at least partially, by using cannabis to cope with difficult experiences from her childhood, which she preferred to keep private.
She typically notices when a manic episode is starting because she begins having unusual thoughts. She’s usually able to manage it with medication, but in the past, it’s caught her off guard, leading to hospitalization.
Oh my god, Lola just *told* us about how hard touring is becoming for her. It’s because of her health, you know? She said it’s so unpredictable. And she… she actually shared that sometimes she gets these intense periods where she’s just *so* energetic, they can last a whole month! She barely sleeps during those times, like, days and days without rest. It’s honestly so worrying, but also… it just makes me admire her even more that she’s still trying to perform for us.
Lola explained that being sick often makes her feel guilty and ashamed, and she frequently feels left out or isolated after experiencing an illness in public.
