LoL patch notes 25.07

In this update, we’ve got some key points from League of Legends patch 25.07:

* Brand, Ivern, Olaf, Shaco, Trundle, Volibear, and Zoe are being strengthened (buffed).
* Gwen, Darius, Naafiri, Lillia, and Lulu are being weakened (nerfed).
* Yone, Yorick, and Xerath will undergo balance tweaks.

Additionally, this patch brings system adjustments, nerfs, and buffs, as well as changes to the lane swap detector in the game.

Gwen nerfs, Naafiri nerfs, and more

In a recent update, Riot Phroxzon provided more information about modifications made to Gwen, adjustments to Naafiri, and system updates as well. Notably, changes to Gwen have significantly boosted her effectiveness in advanced top lane gameplay. However, these enhancements proved slightly overpowered even after a mini-update. Consequently, Gwen will be toned down in League of Legends patch 25.07.

Regarding Naafiri, Riot Phroxzon mentioned that she continues to be robust even after the micropatch, which implies potential future balance changes aimed at lessening her power during the early game, specifically in the jungle. However, they intend to maintain her high damage output while making it more challenging for her to utilize it effectively.

Regarding system enhancements, Catalyst the Protector is being made more efficient to match Lost Chapter. Umbral Glaive, on the other hand, is being tweaked due to its lackluster performance outside of Pyke’s realm. As for Recall Homeguard with Symbiotic Soles, the mid lane version (Recall Homeguard) is going to receive a nerf.
