Pop songstress Lo Lauren has released her anticipated new single ‘Before the Kiss‘.
Starting today (October 11), you can stream the latest hit song by the artist on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. It’s a lively synth-pop tune that exuberantly expresses the exhilarating sensation leading up to a kiss.
Today, a complementary lyric video for the song ‘Before the Kiss’ is launched on YouTube. This video showcases a sparkling sequence of fan-submitted kisses and intimate moments, all beautifully put together by Lauren, that visually encapsulates the charming spirit of the song.
Sharing the source of her inspiration for her newest song, Lauren mentions: “I’ve always been captivated by that brief instant prior to a kiss – the few seconds filled with excitement as you wait to see what happens next.
In this tune, I found myself immersed in the essence of those early encounters with someone captivating. It’s as if I wanted to freeze time, savoring those moments, hoping they’d last an eternity.
The popular musician was equally specific about the video and cover design, mentioning, “Additionally, I had a mood board featuring pictures of people with glitter on their lips – a detail I’m quite fond of incorporating everywhere. This visual element served as a significant source of inspiration for our songwriting process.
Under the production of andysocialclub and Slwmo, the song titled ‘Before The Kiss’ will be released. This track is set to join its predecessor ‘Wonder’, both appearing on the artist’s first extended play album ‘Wonderlust’. Expected release in the year 2025.
This year, the captivating track ‘Wonder’ significantly boosted Lauren’s popularity, making its debut on Radio 1’s Future Pop Show. Additionally, the talented singer performed this song recently at The Hundred, sharing the stage with Cat Burns, Nell Mescal, and Zara Larsson last month.
Last year, Lauren was selected as one of Abbie McCarthy’s recommendations for 2024 on BBC Introducing Kent, and she also got inducted into the BBC Radio 1 ‘Future Pop’ class of 2023.
