Lleyton and Bec Hewitt’s daughter Mia looks every inch the rocker in a leopard print faux fur coat as she arrives for a gig in Sydney

Mia Hewitt looked every inch the rocker on Friday when she stepped out for a gig in Sydney.

Mia, who is the child of renowned tennis player Lleyton Hewitt and well-known actress Bec from “Home and Away,” forms one part of the musical act known as Father’s Favourite.

And she certainly looked the part when she was seen hopping out of an Uber on her way to the gig.

Mia rugged up against the inclement Sydney weather in a faux leopard print fur coat.

In the chill of winter, my only shield against the cold was a heavy coat – Mia’s, to be precise. Yet, beneath that coat, a vibrant spirit pulsed, hidden under a delicate, thin white silk blouse that hinted at the rocker within.

The blouse  featured lace embellishments around the neckline and hem.

Additionally, she showcased some lengthy, stylish legs in a set of light-brown shorts that stopped just above her upper thigh area.

Mia completed her rocker style by donning a pair of tall, brown leather boots at the knees. She added a touch of retro charm with an old-fashioned looking, brown leather handbag that she casually carried over her shoulder.

She wore her mousy brown locks down for the occasion, letting her hair fall freely down her back. 

Upon reaching the location together, Mia was spotted retrieving a big black guitar case out of her Uber’s trunk, accompanied by her bandmate.

With an unyielding gaze fixed on the task that lay before her, she walked resolutely into the venue, carrying an air of quiet determination etched upon her face.

Last year in August, Mia’s band played their inaugural performance, and it seems that her acting mother from Home and Away, Bec, is eager to guide her musically along the correct path.

Though she’s primarily recognized for portraying beloved character Hailey Smith Lawson on Home and Away from 1998 to 2005, this actress briefly dabbled in pop music as well.

Following her TV success, Bec put out a self-titled solo album in 2002, and her first single “All Seats Taken” peaked at number 10 on the ARIA charts.

Her album, nonetheless, received a mix of positive and negative critiques, ultimately leading to a conclusion of her music career in 2004 following her separation from label Warner Music.

According to a source, Bec is making efforts to help her daughter dodge the potential challenges that often affect novice and inexperienced artists.

It was mentioned that Bec has mastered handling difficult individuals and questionable bosses, and they don’t wish for Mia to repeat the blunders from her initial career phase, such as being overly hopeful about specific positions.

Mia’s deep love for music right now isn’t stopping her from considering an acting career, similar to her mother who’s an actress.

They mentioned that Mia is quite versatile, implying she understands it’s not enough to excel in only one area. Her journey into the music industry would likely involve creating content for social media platforms and actively promoting herself as well.

‘Ultimately, that can lead to more work like modelling, acting and even presenting.

‘Bec just wants Mia to be happy and working on a career that is going to sustain her.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must admit that the allure of the rockstar life seems to be making its mark on Mia. Recently, she was seen casually enjoying cigarettes during leisure time with companions in the vibrant setting of Sydney’s Rose Bay.

In the year 1999, Mia’s parents, tennis star Lleyton and singer Bec, crossed paths during a charity match on the tennis court at the Starlight Cup event.

The pair didn’t reunite until several years had passed, and they ultimately arranged an in-person meeting in the year 2005. Following a swift romance spanning just six weeks, they decided to get engaged.

As well as singer Mia, they also share another daughter Ava, 12, and son Cruz, 15.

It has been suggested more recently that Bec might make a comeback on screen, potentially resuming her character Hayley Smith Lawson from Home and Away, which she left in 2005.
