As a fan of Lizzo and her empowering message of self-love, I must say it’s heartening to see her navigate through the ups and downs of public life with grace and humor. The recent Instagram exchange between Lizzo and an anonymous follower seemed to be just another day in the life of a superstar, but it also highlighted the double standard that exists in our society when it comes to body image and weight loss.

Lizzo flaunted her significant weight reduction once more, offering a peek at her sculpted physique in a fresh TikTok clip posted on Thursday.

In simpler terms, the singer who goes by “The Truth Hurts,” aged 36 and currently enjoying a gap year, was seen in a bold red swimsuit with cut-outs. She also dismissed any rumors about Ozempic in a separate post on her primary Instagram account.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m always excited to share transformative journeys, and today I’m thrilled to highlight my own. Recently, I took to TikTok, revealing the remarkable metamorphosis of a beloved singer, showcasing her new look from my brand, Yitty. The transformation was breathtaking, with her donning a sleek black bralette set that perfectly matched her bottoms – a testament to the quality and style we strive for at Yitty.

The clip then jumped to her wearing a short-sleeved, white bodysuit to flaunt her slimmer frame.

As I gazed into the mirror, my own cascade of dark tresses fell midway down my back, a natural, carefree style that seemed to dance around me.

Hey there! Can’t help but share this: Overhearing a murmur about my appearance in the backdrop of a video? Insane! I mean, c’mon, y’all know I’ve always been a fierce queen, a true badass. That’s me, always and forever.

In the caption for her TikTok post, the artist behind the popular song “Good As Hell” wrote to her fans, “I’m good either way.

A different fan expressed, ‘The gap between you is astonishing!! So proud of your achievements,’ while another exclaimed, ‘Alright buddy, please share your secret method.’ (Maintaining the original sentiment and tone while using more common and conversational language)

On her primary Instagram account, Lizzo addressed rumors suggesting she used Ozempic for her weight loss.

On Friday, I enthusiastically posted a brief video featuring me elegantly arrayed in a vibrant, satin gown, with my tresses gracefully gathered into a stylish low bun.

She appended text at the bottom that said, ‘After 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit, you may encounter ozempic accusations.’

Subsequently, Lizzo posted a snapshot of a remark made by a social media user who suggested she was using either Ozempic or cocaine.

Earlier this week, the singer was seen endorsing items from Yitty in a video, and she captioned it, “What’s going on… THE BRAIDS?! Cotton Bodysuit by @yitty.” (Informal)

In response, the Grammy winner wrote, “Why are you following me?” accompanied by four tears emojis.

Lizzo then shared a screenshot of the Instagram user’s account which had been set to private.

Additionally, she added two self-portraits taken near a window letting sunlight flow in, on her Instagram post from last Friday.

Her makeup had a timeless touch, with mascara elegantly applied to her eyelashes and a rosy blush delicately placed on her cheekbones for a luminous effect.

In the caption, the artist wrote, “‘Is it Ozempic or Coke?’ – a fan, accompanied by sad face emojis, which suggests they were responding to a comment made on social media.

Others came to Lizzo’s defense, with one typing, ‘Why are we ozempic shaming? Would you shame someone on antidepressants?’

A friend said, “I’ve observed some changes over the past few months, but I held my peace since it’s now 2024 and discussing body matters isn’t appropriate. Yet, you truly shine!

‘And even if it WAS ozempic, ITs OKAY!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,’ one fan wrote, while another added, ‘I love the public call out! He F’d around and found out!’

In a conversation with The New York Times in March, she shared insights into her weight loss experience, expressing that she has been deliberate and losing weight at a gradual pace.

When it comes to losing weight, Lizzo shared that she doesn’t always observe changes because, as those on a natural weight loss journey understand, shedding pounds is an incredibly gradual process. It’s often not until you take a moment to step back and reflect that you realize the progress you’ve made.

Instead, she’s been keeping her followers informed about her progress by posting workout photos.

On Wednesday this past week, the artist posted a photo taken in the gym, donning black workout gear and a pair of cozy, white training shoes.

In August last month, Lizzo announced that she had decided to take a break for a year and prioritize her peace due to ongoing legal issues.

About a year ago, the performer found herself facing a lawsuit from three former dancers. In this legal action, the group claimed she had subjected them to sexual harassment, body shaming, and fostered an unpleasant workplace atmosphere. However, Lizzo has since refuted these accusations.

Initially in March, it appeared as though the singer had announced her departure from the music world; however, she subsequently made it clear that she’s not actually retiring from the industry.
