Lizzie Cundy, 57, looks incredible in a busty one-shouldered swimsuit as she soaks up the sun ahead of son’s wedding in Venice

On Tuesday, before her son’s wedding, Lizzie Cundy was radiantly sunbathing at a Venetian beach in Italy, where she appeared stunning.

The presenter, aged 57, donned a single-shouldered, cream-colored swimsuit with ample bust support, as she lay back to soak up the sun on a lounge chair.

She gathered her hair up into a high puff, donned round-framed sunshades to guard her peepers.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share a moment of tranquility before the festivities. In my case, it’s all about finding a serene space amidst the excitement. Here’s a peek into my world!

This month, Lizzie’s oldest child, Josh (age 29), will tie the knot in the renowned destination of Venice. Interestingly enough, this event follows closely on the heels of Amazon magnate Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding, which also took place in Venice only a few weeks ago.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m proud to say that I share my life with not just one, but two remarkable individuals. Among them is my 26-year-old son, James, who graced this world from my union with the distinguished former Chelsea footballer, Jason Cundy, now in his mid-50s.

More recently, Lizzie candidly discussed the authentic experiences of being a WAG during the noughties, revealing the ‘solitary and secluded’ nature of her separation from her former football player companion.

Back in 1994, I was fortunate enough to tie the knot with the charismatic ex-Chelsea footballer, Jason, whom I met serendipitously at a buzzing nightspot in Richmond, London.

Lizzie split from Jason in 2012 after discovering his affair with opera singer Hannah Pedley.

In the recently released BBC documentary named “Sex After Celebrity,” Lizzie disclosed the challenges she encountered while maintaining her privacy amidst her peak popularity.

Looking back at that pivotal moment when my marital issues were brought into the limelight, I can honestly say it was one of the toughest periods in my life – a true test of resilience and personal growth.

She expressed that the breakup of her marriage was incredibly difficult, not only due to the marriage ending and the resulting family separation, but also because it made headline news.

A photo of me in a swimsuit, with me looking backward, was used without my knowledge, and it portrayed my marital separation. The response from others also surprised me.

Friends whom I was acquainted with seemed at a loss for words. Mothers at school would avoid crossing paths with me, as they felt self-conscious and awkward.

Instead, she noted: ‘They found themselves at a loss for words, which made life rather solitary.’

Unsure whom to believe, even questioning the loyalty of friends, contemplating whether they might have shared a story unknowingly, or wondering, “Did I reveal this secret to just one person, so how did it surface here?

‘And quizzing and questioning people that you’ve known a lifetime. So that side was awful.’

After her high-profile divorce, Lizzie struggled to dive back into the world of dating.

She mentioned: ‘Dating becomes challenging when you’ve been involved in a highly publicized romance and then start dating again, as trust issues can arise. And indeed, I faced that situation.’

On one occasion, I found myself on a date with someone who kept his phone visible, and it struck me as if he might be secretly filming me.

‘So I just said it out, “Is your phone on? Are you recording?” And he just went, “Yeah…”‘

Progressing to the current era, the charm has discovered a refreshed vitality in the realm of dating, as she eloquently put it, “it’s fantastic now.

After dating England rugby player Danny Cipriani, she’s been involved in a few more relationships away from the spotlight.

The TV star said: ‘I am loving dating. I do long-distance relationships, which is fantastic.

Here’s a suggestion for a more polite and less suggestive way of expressing that idea: “You can occasionally share playful or humorous images to keep our conversations lively. These aren’t constant, as I understand they might become bothersome if overdone.

You understand that men can excel in various aspects. Previously, I had a man who I would think, ‘If only he were a tad more lively and enjoyed going out during the evenings.’

I have a diverse group of friends; some are sports enthusiasts, others enjoy dining out, while some can make me laugh until I cry, and another is quite skilled in… well, let’s just say they’ve mastered the art of relaxation. Basically, I’ve got everything covered.

‘So that’s what… I’m free. I love it, and I’ve never been happier.’

Sex After Celebrity is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
