Oh my gosh, you guys, Liz McClarnon and Peter Cho just shared the cutest peek into their first Christmas as a family! Can you believe it? They finally have their little boy with them, and it’s just… everything! I’m seriously melting over seeing their first holiday season as three. It’s so sweet!
Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, 44, recently announced the birth of her first child, who arrived prematurely after a long and difficult struggle with fertility.
Okay, so things were a little nerve-wracking with the delivery, but I’m happy to report everything went really well! I just posted a quick selfie from my hospital bed – thumbs up, feeling good, and so grateful!
Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m literally losing it! Liz just posted the cutest thing on Instagram! It’s a picture of her and Peter getting ready for their first Christmas as parents! I’ve been following her forever and this is just… everything! I can’t wait to see pictures of the little one, but this little peek at their holiday prep is already making my day!
The singer was pictured wearing matching pyjamas with her husband and baby, whose face was covered.
I absolutely love seeing the family’s Christmas tradition! Liz shared a photo of them all cozy in their @alderhey pyjamas, posing in front of their beautifully decorated tree. It’s so heartwarming!

Last month, Liz revealed the first pictures of her new baby, sharing a series of black-and-white photos. She explained the post also marked what would have been her due date.
Touching photos revealed Liz in a hospital bed, lovingly holding her newborn son just after delivery. Another photo showed Peter carrying the baby home in a carrier.
Meanwhile, someone spotted Liz lovingly hugging her young son, who was wearing a custom-made cardigan with ‘Baby McCho’ knitted on it – a charming combination of Liz and Peter’s last names.
The singer shared details about her difficult birth in a recent post, explaining she was surprised when her labor began unexpectedly early. She also expressed gratitude for the excellent care she received from the National Health Service staff.
She mentioned today was originally the date her baby was expected. She was surprised he arrived so much earlier – more than ten days ago! (She clarified ‘bun’ was just a nickname, not his actual name).
I was really startled when my water broke at 4 in the morning. Things got a little frightening when the baby’s heart rate went down, but the incredible staff at the hospital quickly took charge and helped us.
It was a lot to handle, but their team was incredibly professional and caring, and we really appreciate everything they did.
She was overjoyed to finally become a mother, especially after years of trying to conceive, including eight rounds of IVF over three years.

She added a postscript: ‘I couldn’t resist including the classic photo of a new parent leaving the hospital with their baby – we’ve been dreaming of this moment for so long!’
Liz and Peter began trying for a baby with IVF shortly after they started dating four years ago. Liz shared that they were aware of her age – she was 40 when they first met – and wanted to start a family relatively soon.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how challenging the path to parenthood can be. For Liz, 2023 brought heartbreak with three unsuccessful IVF cycles, and sadly, the following year included two miscarriages. It really took a toll on her, both emotionally and physically – and it’s something she’s bravely navigated.
‘The first time we did it, I thought, “This will be it,”‘ she recalled to The Mirror.
Honestly, by the time I’d tried it for the third time, everything had changed. When that attempt failed, it absolutely wrecked me – I spiraled into a really dark place, I couldn’t even function. It was awful.
I had gained a lot of weight, but I kept it to myself. I didn’t want my IVF treatment to define me or become the only thing people saw when they looked at me.
A complete IVF cycle usually takes three to six weeks. Throughout this process, hormone medications are essential for helping the ovaries develop multiple eggs and getting the uterus ready for implantation.

I’ve been following Liz for a while now, and earlier this year she bravely shared a really personal post on Instagram. It was a collection of photos from the last few years showing her journey through treatment, and she was so open about everything she’s been going through – even the tough side effects of her medication. It was incredibly moving to see her share so much.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I almost died when I saw it! After so long, Liz and Peter finally announced they were expecting! It was this super sweet Instagram video, and honestly, I was crying right along with them. They’ve wanted this for ages, and I’m just SO happy for them!
A heartwarming video showed her sitting on a park bench. She then turned to reveal she’s expecting a baby, explaining to her followers that she’s been keeping it a secret and hasn’t been very active on social media because it’s been difficult at times.
After years of difficult and sometimes heartbreaking IVF treatments, we’re thrilled to announce we’re expecting a baby! It feels like a dream come true.
