Livinia Nixon doesn’t look like this anymore! Getaway star, 50, has onlookers doing a double take at Chemist Warehouse event

Livinia Nixon turned heads on Thursday at a Chemist Warehouse event in Melbourne.

On the red carpet, the star from Hey Hey It’s Saturday and Getaway shone brilliantly as she struck poses, subsequently posting a collection of pictures on Instagram for all to see.

In simpler terms, the experienced 50-year-old television personality confidently showcased her toned legs and slender silhouette in a vibrant minidress adorned with flower patterns.

I accented my appearance by donning a stylish pair of beige pumps adorned with golden accents, and let my signature blonde tresses cascade in a carefree wave.

In another frame, Livinia was all smiles as she posed on a polka dot sunlounger.

‘That was one to remember, thanks @chemistwarehouseaus,’ she captioned the post.

In Melbourne, during the CW hotel event, they featured the retail brands that can be found in their chain store right now.)

2020 saw Livinia grabbing attention as she admitted she sought solitude by concealing herself in the laundry room, needing personal space amidst the COVID-19 lockdowns, even from her own kids.

On the nine.com.au blog, she shared that certain instances amidst the pandemic brought joy, but others resulted in sadness.

‘We’ve all coped differently and we’ve all managed the stress in different ways,’ she wrote.

At times, certain experiences brought great joy (preparing meals together with the children, lounging in the park and observing the clouds float leisurely).

On certain occasions, I found myself seeking solace amidst the clutter of the laundry room, yearning for a moment’s peace. Or, I had to break their hearts by informing my children that our long-awaited freedom from months of confinement would need to wait a while longer as lockdown was being extended.

Livinia has two kids – a 15-year-old named Henry and an 12-year-old called Ted – who she raises with her spouse, a property developer named Alastair Jack.

The familiar TV face first appeared on screens 46 years ago.

Speaking to Herald Sun of her long-standing career, she said it all started with an advert.

At the age of four, I made my screen debut as the little girl known as Granny Davis’ Bread Kid,” she shared with the press.

In simpler terms, it was disclosed that a relative’s acquaintance was the director. When one of the chosen actresses for the advertisement fell ill, she stepped in at the very last moment to take her place.

‘All I had to do was eat party food and have fun.’
