Live Like a Kid Forever: Nickelodeon’s New Orlando Resort Offers “Permanent Resident” Condos

Nickelodeon is planning to return its iconic slime experience to the Orlando region with a fresh resort-and-residences concept. Located within the vast Everest Place development spanning 220 acres in Orlando, this project stands just a stone’s throw away from Disney World, where US‑192 and SR‑429 intersect. The anticipated opening is scheduled for 2026, offering an exclusive mix of vacation accommodations and Nickelodeon-branded condominium ownership that promises a unique getaway experience.

Upon being opened, individuals will have the opportunity to buy a condo and thereby gain permanent residence status at the Nickelodeon hotel.

Over 400 options for stays will be provided, blending conventional hotel rooms with 181 residential condos that come in various sizes, including studios and two-bedroom layouts with lockoff possibilities.

Options includes:

  • Studios (~505 sq ft)
  • One-bedroom units with kids’ dens (~1,000 sq ft)
  • Two‑bedroom lockoffs (~1,515 sq ft)

As part of their purchase, buyers also get membership in the “Keys to the World” travel club (worth $50,000), which provides benefits such as reduced rates on stays at Nickelodeon resorts worldwide. A refundable deposit of $10,000 confirms a reservation, with the remaining amount payable during the construction period and upon completion of the transaction.

This new venture signifies Nickelodeon’s first Orlando resort since the closing of the original Nickelodeon Suites Resort (later known as Holiday Inn) in 2016. By collaborating with Paramount, Lion Star Hospitality, and Karisma Hotels, Nickelodeon is making a comeback with a contemporary, versatile property that caters to both families who appreciate nostalgia and investors looking for vacation homes.

Other Options and Amenities

This property provides a complete collection of Nickelodeon-themed adventures, featuring the AquaNick water park, a slime shooting device, engaging pool areas, and cabanas. For dining, guests can enjoy meals at eateries like Le Spatula, modeled after SpongeBob SquarePants, Mikey’s Pizzeria, celebrating the Ninja Turtles, or reminisce about the ’90s at Snick Lounge. The resort will also offer character interactions with favorite characters such as SpongeBob, Dora, PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Blue’s Clues. Additionally, there will be a kids’ club named “Club Nick,” retail shops, and bars catering to adults.

Situated smack-dab in the bustling heart of Orlando, you’ll find yourself right next door to some beloved characters from your favorite shows. Here, you can share a slice with Michelangelo, snap a selfie with SpongeBob before diving into the pool together, lend a hand to the Paw Patrol crew!
