Liv Morgan versus Alexa Bliss would be big for the WWE Women’s Division
Liv Morgan has relinquished her WWE Women’s World Championship to Rhea Ripley. This storyline appears to have reached its conclusion after the January 13 edition of Monday Night Raw. However, it would be beneficial for Morgan not to exit the main event scene entirely. Instead, a significant plotline leading up to WrestleMania season could be crafted for her. An ideal opponent in this scenario would be Alexa Bliss, who could make a comeback.
I’ve always been captivated by Alexa Bliss ever since she stepped onto the main WWE roster from NXT. Fans instantly connected with her character, appearance, and overall aura, which is one of the reasons she has amassed five Women’s Championships and three Women’s Tag Team Championships. Although she’s been away for two years due to having a child, fans can’t help but wonder when she might make her comeback. With the Royal Rumble fast approaching, there’s a growing buzz about whether Bliss could be one of the surprise entrants. If that happens, it would provide an excellent platform to stir up tension between her and Morgan.
Various scenarios can unfold when it comes to Morgan’s interaction with Bliss. One feasible option is to explore the angle of a former star, who has just returned, facing off against an established figure trying to safeguard their position. Such a plotline would make for a logical narrative.
Couldn’t WWE take things a step beyond by combining The Wyatt Sicks and Judgment Day storylines? Fans are eager to see the return of Bliss to The Wyatt Sicks narrative, given her strong bond with Bray Wyatt during his tenure in the company. She seems ideally suited for this angle as it develops further with Bo Dallas and others. But how might Morgan and Judgment Day fit into the picture? With their history of unsavory actions, they could make excellent targets for the Wyatts.
The Wyatt Sicks have been shifted to WWE SmackDown through the “transfer window.” With Finn Balor having completed his feud with Damian Priest, there’s speculation that a similar move could happen for Judgment Day in the lead-up to the Royal Rumble. Introducing Alexa Bliss into this storyline would bring her back together with Nikki Cross under her revamped persona, and create a rivalry between two women against Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This potential development could add another major angle to the SmackDown women’s division, highlighting characters outside of the title scene.
Enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting Alexa Bliss’s comeback, which is sure to be a significant event. Liv Morgan has managed to establish herself as a key player in the women’s division, even without the title. She should be viewed as a potential threat at any given moment. Developing a narrative between these two would seem to be the ideal course of action.
