Little Mix’s wall of silence as Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock fail to publicly acknowledge ex bandmate Jesy Nelson’s pregnancy announcement

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Jesy Nelson recently announced her exciting pregnancy with twins! However, it seems her former bandmates in Little Mix haven’t yet extended their public congratulations on this joyous occasion.

The thirty-three-year-old vocalist announced joyfully that she’s having twins with her partner, Zion Foster, who is twenty-six years old. She proudly displayed her growing belly in a white bralette.

Jesy announced that she was expecting her first children, twin babies, and hinted at this by saying she was “feeding for four,” accompanied by two baby emoji symbols.

Though several celebrity friends like Chris Hughes extended their congratulations, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwalk, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have remained notably quiet in response to the singer’s recent accomplishment.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but express my thoughts about the situation involving Jesy. In December 2020, she took her leave from Little Mix, and it seemed to me that even in joyous moments, like when Leigh-Anne and Perrie announced their pregnancies, just a few days apart in 2021, there was no public congratulations from Jesy.

Currently, Perrie has the joyful role of being a mom to her son, Axel, whom she co-parents with her partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Similarly, Leigh-Anne is also a proud mother of twin daughters that she shares with her husband Andre Gray.

In August 2021, Jesy revealed that she was no longer in contact with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade. 

In her conversation with The Guardian, she replied, “We haven’t been in touch that much lately. Not at the moment. I believe everyone needs some space right now, given what has transpired. They will always hold a special place in my heart, as if they were my sisters.

After the singer, Jesy, criticized them repeatedly, Perrie, Leigh-Anne, and Jade decided to stop following each other on social media, since they had chosen to continue as a trio following her departure.

Sharing happy news, Jesy appeared in a photo alongside her boyfriend Zion, who she had parted ways with in September, several months ago.

In January 2022, a connection was first reported between the vocalist and hip-hop artist. However, they parted ways in November 2023 due to challenges posed by a difference of seven years in their ages, which Jesy found difficult to handle.

The pair got back together not long ago, but split up five months back; yet recently, they appear to be moving forward once more.

Back in September, I found myself caught up in a whirlwind of curiosity when it seemed like my beloved duo had taken a break from their digital love story. They appeared to have erased all signs of each other’s presence on their respective social media accounts, leaving me wondering if the magic was truly over between them.

Jesy and Zion previously split last summer after Jesy struggled with their seven year age gap. 

Despite having parted ways at some point, they reconciled and have been working together again. One of their collaborations was debuted in August, while more are still waiting to be released.

After news broke about their breakup, Zion affirmed that they had parted ways when he commented on an OK! TikTok post, saying: “A wonderful woman, both inside and out; I wish her only the best.

The fans expressed their sorrow upon hearing the news. They posted, ‘What a pity, they seemed like a delightful pair,’ and ‘Oh, I was really looking forward to their music.’

According to a source, The Sun reported that Jesy and Zion parted ways about a month ago and have severed all connections. Previously, they had split up, but their friends believe this separation might be permanent.

Despite having a prepared Extended Play (EP) full of their collaborative music, there seems to be some discomfort as Jesy doesn’t wish for it to be released at this moment.

It seems that the fans have already listened to one of their songs and are eagerly anticipating more, however, it appears less probable at the moment.

Jesy’s recent announcement follows a period of speculation, triggered by a mysterious message she posted to her followers in October. This cryptic comment came shortly after her ex-bandmate from Little Mix, Perrie Edwards, publicly pondered about the dissolution of their friendship.

I can’t hide my passion for the incredible Little Mix, but sadly, Jesy Nelson, one of its shining stars, parted ways with the group in December 2020. She revealed that the ‘unrelenting pressure’ of being a member in a girl group was just too much for her to handle. Since then, it seems like she and her former bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Ann Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall have grown apart.

Following Perrie’s discussion about the dissolution of their friendship on a podcast, Jesy posted a subtle message on her Instagram Stories instead.

The creator behind The Boyz music group posted a message that read, “The internet can be really unpleasant, just like people,” against a dark backdrop.

On Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, Perrie openly disclosed that the breakdown of their friendship with Jesy served as the inspiration for a fresh composition.

She mentioned: “I composed a tune regarding an old friendship, one that is now lost. It seems we struggle with discussing the end of friendships.

It’s still incredibly painful – when you share so many experiences, from the peaks to the valleys, only to find that person is no longer there.

‘But these things happen. Do we try and rectify things? Or just stay away?’
