Olivia Barash, an actress, is facing possible eviction from her apartment near Los Angeles. She’s been struggling financially after suffering a stroke.
“I’m really struggling right now and just need some support,” said Barash, 60, to TMZ. She also expressed surprise at this difficult development, especially after everything she’s already been through with her recent health scare.
Barash, who was on two episodes of Little House on the Prairie in 1981 playing Sylvia Webb, said she wants to find a safe place to live and return to a normal life, and currently needs help to do so.
Actress Barash, known for playing Leila in the 1984 film Repo Man, is facing possible eviction due to rising rent and construction at her apartment building.
Barash shared that she’s been seeking proper medical care since suffering a stroke in October and has been largely confined to bed ever since.
Daily Mail has reached out to Barash via Instagram for further comment on the story.

Barash recently told TMZ that she’s going through a difficult period and doesn’t have much of a support system in Los Angeles, as she has very few friends and no family remaining there.
Actress Barash, known for her roles in shows like Fame, One Day at a Time, and 21 Jump Street, is also a dog owner and is asking for assistance with pet care.
Barash said she didn’t know where she would go if she lost her housing, and her application for disability benefits was rejected.
Barash said she had been working on directing a documentary before she she suffered a stroke.
Barash also appears to have an active Cameo account for fans.
Barash received a boost on Monday thanks to a GoFundMe campaign started by her friend, Nanea Reeves. The campaign has already raised over $7,690 from 102 donors.
According to a GoFundMe post by Keanu Reeves, their friend Olivia Barash is facing eviction in two weeks and needs assistance, along with her dog.
She isn’t currently receiving food assistance (SNAP). After a recent stroke, she’s relying on friends for support, as she doesn’t have any family nearby.

We’re working to provide funds for her first and last month’s rent, helping her find suitable housing quickly so she can concentrate on recovering and getting back on her feet.
The fundraising drive was set with a goal of $9,000 to help the actress find her financial footing.
Keanu Reeves shared that he’s known and cared for Olivia for a long time, describing her as lively, imaginative, and exceptionally gifted.
She’s having trouble covering her expenses with just her small pension. Any financial help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
