Indeed, I found myself grappling with significant weight gain – approximately three stones over the course of a year – along with symptoms such as brain fog, anxiety, and sudden outbursts of anger due to my early onset of menopause.

However, the brunette model, now an advocate for menopause awareness, has experienced increased confidence in recent times and frequently displays her striking figure with pride.

In an interview with Closer Magazine, she revealed the secret behind her stunning weight loss. 

She mentioned that she engages in considerable weight training, expressing her focus on growing stronger with age. She shared that this routine has significantly transformed her life. She wakes up at 5 am to work out three or four times a week at the gym.

Embracing the healing power of movement has become even more crucial as I enter my golden years. To fortify my physique, I’m focusing on building muscle mass and enhancing bone density. While many women might gravitate towards pounding pavements or high-intensity interval training (HIIT), it’s essential to remember that these activities may not suit everyone, as they can elevate cortisol levels. Instead, I’ve found solace in practicing Pilates.

After Lisa confessed that she harbored some doubts about marrying her fiance, George Smart, eight years following their engagement.

20-plus years back, the founder of both a modeling and communications agency, aged 44, had their initial romance when she was a disc jockey at MTV and he was in charge of events for the same channel.

The lovebirds rekindled their romance a decade ago and got engaged in 2017.

When someone inquired about what she’s looking forward to most regarding her upcoming wedding, Lisa expressed her enthusiasm by saying: “I can’t wait to call him ‘my spouse’ and exclaim, ‘My significant other is on his way; all I need now is for him to arrive!’ To be honest, I much prefer using ‘my husband’ over ‘my fiancé.’ It’s a term I truly cherish!

The pair, having just returned from a tropical getaway in the Caribbean for Lisa’s 53rd birthday celebration, are now mapping out their upcoming journeys, which will include destinations like Chile, Peru, Thailand, and Guatemala.
