Lisa Snowdon, 52, shows off her age-defying figure in a skimpy purple bikini as she soaks up the sun in Mallorca
As a lifestyle expert, I find Lisa Snowdon‘s journey to be truly inspiring. At 52, she continues to defy expectations and age gracefully, all while maintaining a positive attitude and sharing her experiences openly with her followers.
In a tiny, vibrant purple swimsuit, Lisa Snowdon displayed a seemingly ageless physique while enjoying the sunshine in Mallorca.
The TV presenter, 52, wowed fans in a series of snaps posted to her Instagram on Friday.
In a recent update to her followers, the previous model shared images from her Spanish vacation, casually posing by the pool with her back facing the camera, accentuating her figure while gazing at the cityscape behind her.
In another image, Lisa sported sunglasses while striking a pose by the pool, giving the camera a brilliant grin.
She titled her Instagram post as: “Enjoying ourselves immensely. Holiday spirit is on, and it seems like we won’t be returning anytime soon.”
A month ago, Lisa shared her journey of shedding approximately four kilograms (two stone) following a period of weight gain and loss of self-confidence as she navigated menopause.
Regardless of the challenges she faced, Lisa successfully bounced back and is now back to her normal self, having navigated through some tough times.
In an interview with The Mirror, she shared, “There were times when the darkness was so overwhelming, I felt like if this is all there is to my life, then I just can’t carry on.”
In those moments, I was overwhelmed with a sense of isolation and perplexity. I struggled to recognize my own reflection. The transitions of perimenopause and menopause carried a substantial influence over my self-assurance, causing me to temporarily misplace my identity.
Previously known as Britain’s Next Top Model, she disclosed that she reached her maximum weight in 2018. However, she has regained her self-assurance and transformed her lifestyle since then, resulting in a loss of approximately 14 kilograms (two stone).
During an interview for Closer Magazine, she openly discussed battling with food cravings and learning to pay closer attention to her body’s signals. As a result, she has reduced the amount of coffee and alcohol she consumes.
She admitted: “I don’t drink as much as I once did. I get tipsy faster now, and nobody appreciates an overly emotional, messy drunk. I need to watch myself – I’m no longer young, and I can’t subject my body to that kind of treatment. It’s not a pretty sight the morning after, and it certainly affects my mood.”
In 2021, Lisa disclosed that she had been given antidepressants due to persistent low moods and anxiety caused by early menopause, which she subsequently experienced.
10 years ago, the speaker, battling endometriosis, began dealing with depression, unaware that her symptoms were related to perimenopause.
During her guest spot on Lorraine, she disclosed that her 2016 stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was exacerbated by severe menstrual pain, fatigue, and confusion (or “brain fog”). She admitted that she used birth control pills to regulate her irregular menstrual cycle.
After starting Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Lisa felt empowered to manage her own health. She considered the therapy a significant improvement, even going so far as to say it was a “life-changing” experience. In her opinion, she couldn’t imagine living without it.
Looking back, it seemed to gradually approach without a specific moment of realization, and that’s when I understood I was entering perimenopause, as Lisa put it.
Looking back, approximately seven years past, I began to grapple with bouts of low spirits, depression, and anxiety. At the time, I merely assumed this was my norm – perhaps I was just predisposed to be a tad melancholic.
As an ardent enthusiast, I found myself in a predicament when my doctor prescribed antidepressants. I thought this was the solution I’ve been yearning for, but boy, was I wrong. My health issues took a turn for the worse, and the symptoms I experienced were far from what I had initially anticipated.
Currently, Lisa is undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to manage her symptoms, and she reports that she no longer experiences outbursts or yells at her partner. In simpler terms, thanks to HRT, Lisa feels more calm and less prone to angry outbursts towards her partner.
As a dedicated admirer, I’ve been on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for approximately four years now, and let me tell you, it’s become an indispensable part of my life. It’s not just a change; it’s more like a complete transformation – a true game-changer!
I’ve regained my sense of self, as I no longer lash out at my partner or experience intense outbursts. It’s as if I’m reacquainting myself with who I am, and I’ve been proactive in taking charge of my well-being.
In 2021, the speaker openly discussed her early onset of menopause, expressing that she has come to terms with the reality that she and her partner, George Smart, won’t be able to conceive biologically together.
