Friends star Lisa Kudrow has paid tribute to co-star Teri Garr following her death.
The esteemed actor, known for roles in films such as Tootsie and Young Frankenstein, died at the age of 79 following a prolonged struggle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
In the popular sitcom “Friends”, Garr portrayed the role of Phoebe Buffay’s on-screen mom over three episodes, scattered throughout seasons 3 and 4.
Speaking with People, Kudrow expressed his heartfelt tribute to the late actress, Teri Garr: “Teri was an exceptional comedic talent whose influence on me and many others remains significant. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with her.
Yesterday, October 29th, the actor’s passing was disclosed by her representative, who stated that she was surrounded by loved ones at the time.
Throughout her acting journey, she was featured prominently in films such as “The Conversation”, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “Dumb and Dumber”, and “Ghost World”.
Garr was diagnosed with MS in 1999, and revealed the diagnosis publicly three years later.
Meanwhile, in the latest update, Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston, who starred together on Friends, have posted touching tributes for their late co-star Matthew Perry, marking a year since his passing.

Last October, the actor died at age 54. His passing was determined as an accident due to the severe impact of ketamine, according to an autopsy report.
