Lisa Armstrong shares cryptic Valentine’s Day post after ‘split’ from her boyfriend – as she grieves the death of the beloved dog she shared with ex Ant McPartlin

Lisa Armstrong posted a mysterious message on Valentine’s Day after reportedly ending her relationship with her boyfriend.

The make-up artist from Strictly, age 49, has reportedly split from her partner, Grant Kilburn, 34, only a few weeks after friends said she was very happy in the relationship.

A source told The Mirror that the breakup is unfortunate, but it simply wasn’t meant to be. The Daily Mail has reached out to Lisa’s team for a statement.

On Valentine’s Day, Saturday, she posted a message to her Instagram Story. It said, ‘Roses are flowers, pebbles are stones. Sending love to everyone who is single.’

‘Count yourself lucky and try not to sob. Look on the bright side, you’re not with a ***!’

Recently, sources close to Lisa reported she was feeling happy and energetic again after her divorce from Ant, 50, in 2018.

According to a source, she was accustomed to being in relationships where she wasn’t the priority, always taking a backseat to someone else.

News of Grant and Lisa’s relationship first surfaced in December, according to the Daily Mail. They reportedly connected quickly after being set up by Stacey and Kevin Clifton after one of the couple’s shows.

Stacey and Kevin, parents to a two-year-old daughter, are performing together in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story. The play has been touring the UK since August 2025, and they’re joined on stage by Grant.

People close to the situation said that after the show, the couple met Lisa and introduced her to Grant, who is 15 years younger than her.

According to a source, Lisa and Grant are connecting well, and Lisa seems much happier because of it.

The cryptic post sharing comes after the death of the beloved dog she shared with ex Ant.

Ant rushed from the Britain’s Got Talent launch to be with his dog, Hurley, who sadly passed away this week.

Ant used to share ownership of his pet with his former partner, Lisa. After they broke up in 2018, they had a difficult disagreement about who should keep him.

People close to Ant have said he’s deeply saddened by the loss of Hurley, especially since he and his former partner, Lisa, had recently agreed on a shared custody arrangement.

Ant had previously acknowledged Hurley’s support in his recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.

Sources say Ant quickly went to see his ex-partner, Lisa, at the vet shortly after finishing a press event for Britain’s Got Talent in London.

After discovering their 12-year-old dog, Hurley, was very sick and wouldn’t get better, they made the difficult choice to euthanize him.

According to The Sun On Sunday, both Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong were able to say goodbye to their dog, Hurley, and were with him when he died peacefully.
