On September 24th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, the music video for “The Heavy Is The Crown” by Linkin Park, which was released especially for LoL Worlds 2024, will make its debut. This new song is a follow-up to their popular single, “The Emptiness Machine,” marking the band’s first brand-new music since 2017.

In a statement, Mike Shinoda expressed his delight about collaborating with Riot Games in crafting the anthem for the League of Legends community. “This track truly encapsulates the spirit of our current phase, combining our unique style with a fresh dose of vitality. We can’t wait for the players and enthusiasts to enjoy it!

Miria Egan, the world lead for music at Riot Games, concurred. Egan further stated that it was a privilege to collaborate with Linkin Park. Specifically, the lyrics from their song “Heavy Is The Crown” resonated strongly with the storyline of League of Legends Worlds 2024.
