As reported by Deadline, Macdonald is set to portray the tough yet loving Sheriff Kerry, who is strongly committed to her family and the tight-knit community she serves. It’s hinted that her character could develop romantic feelings for Hal Jordan.

Her determination, forged by a challenging history that’s made her unwavering, gives her stability as the town’s hidden truths emerge, according to the character description.

The team of Damon Lindelof, Chris Mundy, and renowned DC Comics writer Tom King will reimagine the concept of Lanterns. James Gunn and Peter Safran, the heads of DCU, will oversee production on this project.
