As someone who has lived through the highs and lows of Hollywood and the spotlight, I can certainly empathize with Dina Lohan’s journey. She’s faced adversity, navigated the treacherous waters of fame, and emerged stronger than ever – a true testament to resilience and determination.

Dina Lohan has been called out by fans online for allegedly filtering and airbrushing her selfies.

In recent months, Lindsay Lohan’s mother, aged 61, has sparked curiosity due to her seemingly ageless and radiant looks on social media platforms.

On occasion, some of Dina’s photos, which seem to defy age, have sparked speculation among her fans that she might be utilizing apps such as FaceApp to appear younger.

One person said, ‘Remove FaceApp from this woman. Don’t think you can intensify the filter without it being noticeable.’

‘You didn’t look like this TWENTY years ago. No one is fooled. This is sad,’ another wrote.

One even accused Dina of trying to outdo her famous daughter, Lindsay.

As a mother myself, I often find myself perplexed by the current trend among my contemporaries of wanting to appear younger than their daughters. Growing up, I never felt the need to chase after youth; instead, I embraced each stage of my life with grace and acceptance. Now, as I look back on my years, I realize that it was not vanity or a desire to compete with my children that drove me, but rather an appreciation for the wisdom, beauty, and strength that come with age. I believe that every woman should feel proud of her journey, regardless of how it may compare to her daughters’.

A person stated, ‘This is simply absurd! I wonder if this filter makes you appear older. Please stay authentic. It’s quite awkward.’ (Or) ‘Someone said, ‘This looks really unrealistic. Does the filter make you look older? Just be genuine. It’s quite embarrassing.’

In the previous year, I underwent a unique facial revitalization procedure, which included both a facelift and a necklift – all part of my commitment to maintaining a youthful appearance.

She said to Page Six, “I’ve always advocated aging with dignity, but if you feel like pursuing a change, then by all means, take the leap.”

Instead, she chose to consult with Dr. Ira Savetsky, a renowned plastic surgeon from the Upper East Side of New York City.

She expressed a desire to appear as if she were a more youthful version of herself. Many of her friends had done the same thing about 10 to 15 years back, she mentioned.

She’s since been flaunting her youthful looks all over social media in various selfies.

Dina, who was wedded to Lindsay’s dad, Michael, from 1985 to 2007, might also be receptive to encountering her ideal match – potentially through a reality TV show.

‘Lindsay is like, “You need a talk show,”‘ Dina told the publication.

She mentioned, “My children have asked me to play now. It was brought up that Candace Bushnell is creating a show focusing on women over fifty navigating dating in New York City.” (referencing Bushnell’s upcoming unscripted series about women in their 50s finding love)

In our modern world, it seems like everything concerning relationships can be discarded with a simple swipe. It gives an easy way out and moves on to the next one. However, I stand by the tradition of marriage. I’m an advocate of the old-fashioned approach, she concluded.

‘I’m looking for long-term love, not just today.’

She is now penning a memoir and pitching a reboot of her 2008 E! reality series, Living Lohan.

She stated regarding the book: ‘It covers my experiences as a New York performer, my journey in Hollywood, dealing with divorce, and battling obstacles to safeguard my kids.’

As someone who has navigated challenges, including a 2020 DWI arrest, I’m eager to channel my experiences into helping others. This is my heartfelt intention behind writing this comprehensive guide.

She remarked, “You’ll make it to the other side and thrive, even after encountering setbacks. As you grow older, it becomes more challenging, yet it continues to inspire you.”

The memoir will include contributions from her children, including daughter Lindsay.
