Lindsay Lohan flashes six of her 15 tattoos for coveted cover as she admits she’s a Brad Pitt fan

Lindsay Lohan has made a big return to acting this year, starring in the popular movie ‘Freakier Friday’ alongside Jamie Lee Curtis.

This accomplishment earned her a spot on the cover of this week’s New York Magazine, as part of their inaugural Culturati 50 issue.

The stunning blonde actress was photographed by renowned photographer Mark Seliger, wearing a black strapless gown and a striking gold and diamond snake necklace.

The dress didn’t have straps, revealing at least six of her fifteen tattoos – normally covered up on her inner arms and one hand.

In her interview, she revealed that a Brad Pitt film was her favorite of the year. 

Her tattoos are numerous.

She has several tattoos, including a star on the inside of her left wrist, the phrase ‘La Bella Vita’ on her hand, and Marilyn Monroe’s quote ‘I restore myself when I’m alone’ on her inner arm. She also has a red triangle with ‘What Dreams May Come’ on one arm, and a matching red triangle on the other. A star is also visible on the inside of her wrist.

Some of her other tattoos are on her ribcage, foot and other hand. 

When asked about her favorite movie of the year, Lindsay Lohan chose a film starring Brad Pitt. She explained that ‘F1: The Movie’ was exciting, moved quickly, and looked fantastic, praising the racing drama which also featured Javier Bardem.

‘The racing felt real and immersive, and the underdog redemption story gave it real heart.’

She enjoyed ‘Sinners’ because of its sleek, moody atmosphere and its refusal to hold back. The acting was captivating, and it felt innovative and different.

I recently saw ‘The Roses’ and thought it was really charming. I especially liked Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch – they brought a darkly funny vibe to the show.

Her favorite TV show was Wayward. 

She described the show as captivating and immersive, praising its blend of suspense and heartfelt moments that kept her invested throughout the entire series.

She enjoyed ‘Sirens’ because it was witty, engaging, and had an edge. She added that the characters were consistently unexpected and kept her guessing.

She also enjoyed ‘Your Friends & Neighbors,’ describing it as smart, tense, and having a good balance of dark comedy and suspense.

The latest magazine covers feature Lorde, Parker Posey, Claire Danes, Rachel Zegler, and Lola Tung. Each of them shared what they enjoyed most in entertainment during 2025 – including their favorite movies, books, and music.

In Freaky Friday, Tess and Anna Coleman, a mother and daughter played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, switch bodies again, but this time, the whole family gets caught up in the craziness.

With Tess adjusting to being a grandmother and Anna busy raising her children, the family rushes to fix a mistake before it causes bigger problems.

The film, set to be released in theaters on August 8, 2025, features Chad Michael Murray, Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, and Mark Harmon alongside the main cast.

Lohan admitted she ‘never thought’ she would star in a Freaky Friday sequel.

In a recent interview with ELLE, the actress shared her excitement about ‘Freakier Friday,’ calling the experience ‘surreal.’ She admitted she never imagined the film would be successful enough to warrant a sequel.

You don’t often consider the possibility, but it’s incredibly exciting to revisit and reimagine a character you’ve known for a long time.

It’s comforting to revisit a familiar character – something you don’t get with someone new. They’ve grown and changed, so the questions become: what are they like now, and how do we best capture that on film?

It was a really special experience, especially returning to Disney for a feature film after a long break. It felt really good to be back.
