Lindsay Lohan and husband Bader Shammas join forces with mom Dina and siblings for Freakier Friday milestone

The Lohans came out in full force in support of Freakier Friday.

On Monday, almost the entire family of Lindsay Lohan offered their support during a special screening of her latest movie.

Lindsay was beaming with joy as she was surrounded by her loved ones – her husband Bader Shammas, mom Dina Lohan, Ali, Michael Jr., and Dakota – on this special occasion.

Back when I was but a starry-eyed teenager, Lindsay, who was only 16 at the time, graced our screens in the magical comedy “Freaky Friday” of 2003. However, the world and Lindsay herself have undergone such an incredible transformation since then!

Lindsay now shares two-year-old son Luai with Bader, 38, her husband of three years.

As an utterly smitten admirer, I must say that the actress from The Parent Trap was nothing short of captivating. She donned a flawlessly tailored white gown featuring a bell-shaped tulle skirt that flared out gracefully, paired with sleek, strappy heels.

Recently lauded for her flawless skin, Lindsay applied a radiant blush to her blemish-free face, a subtle layer of nude lip gloss, and a striking dash of eyeshadow.

Her long, golden hair flows in undulating mermaid-like waves, and an elegant necklace adds an extra touch of glamour.

In addition, Lindsay’s mom, Dina, was equally stunning wearing a graceful lilac floral gown, her hair cascading in soft waves and adorned with a stylish side fringe.

As for sister Ali, she wowed in a silky blue dress and messy bun.

Brother Dakota opted for an edgy energy with a black tank top, chain necklace, and grey slacks.

Michael Jr. looked dapper in a grey suit, posing beside his wife Nina.

Lindsay, Ali, Dakota, and Michael Jr. are the offspring of Dina and Michael Lohan, who were married between 1985 and 2007.

Lindsay’s dad is married to Kate Major and they have a son named Landon who is 12 years old, as well as Logan who is 10. Additionally, he has a daughter Ashley Horn with Kristi Kaufmann, and she is 29 years old.

In the sequel titled “Freaky Friday,” originally released in 2003, the story finds Lindsay and Jamie Lee Curtis entangled once more in a fourfold predicament. This time, they switch bodies not just once but multiple times, happening 22 years after their initial swap of identities.

22 years have passed since Lindsay and Jamie played Anna and Tess Coleman in the well-received reboot of Freaky Friday directed by Mark Waters. This movie raked in a total of $160.8 million worldwide at the box office.

Recently, during our shared interview with Lindsay, I couldn’t help but express: “I have an unwavering faith in her. There aren’t many individuals I can confidently assert that about. However, when I confide in her, I am certain that what I share is safe with her. We’ve both faced trials and tribulations, as life often demands, but we’ve navigated those hardships together.

As long as I’m still here, our shared journey remains untainted by the glitz and glamour of spectacle. We genuinely found a connection, and it persisted. That’s something extraordinary and hard to come by for me.

Lindsay emphasized: “The word ‘safe’ holds great significance to me. I need to feel secure around individuals, and Jamie is one of those people for me. To be honest, I feel extremely secure with you. I feel comfortable sharing things with you. So while you mentioned ‘trust,’ for me it’s more about feeling ‘secure.’

In the past eighteen years, Lindsay’s debut as a leading actress in a supernatural comedy on the big screen marks a return to theater following several periods of rehabilitation ordered by the court, as well as various unruly behaviors typical of young Hollywood celebrities.

In the initial movie, we see a mother-daughter duo, portrayed by Curtis and Lohan, experience a supernatural body swap after they read a mysterious fortune cookie.

In the sequel, much like the original storyline, it unfolds; yet, it introduces an unexpected turn revolving around a group of Gen Z teenage girls, causing turmoil and confusion for everyone concerned.

In this new development, character Anna, played by Lindsay, is ready to get married to Eric Davies (portrayed by Manny Jacinto), but things are becoming challenging as her teenage daughter Harper (Julia Butters) dislikes Eric’s teenage daughter Lily (Sophia Hammons).

In the 2003 movie, Chad Michael Murray, who portrayed Lindsay’s romantic interest Jake, reprises his character once again.

Freakier Friday will hit theaters on August 8.
