As a longtime viewer of Loose Women, I have to say, everyone’s been talking about the potential changes coming to the show. Linda Robson let slip that there’s a lot of worry behind the scenes with ITV looking at ways to cut costs with its daytime programming. It’s definitely unsettling to think things might not stay the same!
News emerged recently that the panel show, which follows the popular daytime program This Morning, would be reduced to airing only seasonally.
Due to a schedule change, Loose Women and Lorraine will each only be on air for 30 weeks out of the year.
The Daily Mail is eliminating its studio audience and will now share studio space with the shows This Morning and Lorraine.
ITV is streamlining its production process by combining the teams that work on its three shows, which will unfortunately result in some job losses.
Linda has revealed that there’s widespread concern among the entire cast and crew about the upcoming changes.

The 67-year-old acknowledged that people are understandably concerned about the changes happening, but encouraged everyone to remain optimistic.
I’m working on a couple of other projects right now, and I’m hoping Lesley Joseph and I can collaborate on something in the future.
Linda first made her appearance on the panel over 20 years ago, in 2003.
Despite the cuts, Linda still feels like a Loose Woman, adding: ‘I’m definitely loose tongued.
‘I’ve got a loose mouth, and I’m saved as baggy mouth on the group chat.’
Sherrie Hewson had previously criticized the changes, calling them ‘cruel’ and stating that the show provided a vital source of support for its audience.
She explained to The Sun on Sunday that women of all ages – from those in their nineties to new mothers – find the activity therapeutic.
It’s disappointing and upsetting that Loose Women is reducing its number of episodes, especially since the show often deals with sensitive and powerful issues.

In January, the TV shows Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women will move their production to a new studio space – the basement level of The H Club Studio in London’s Covent Garden. This studio used to be a private members’ club.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled about our new studio! We’re planning to create nearly 900 hours of live programming each year. The set is really special – it’s designed with a full 360-degree view and uses amazing LED walls to completely immerse our viewers in the world of each show. It’s going to be a really dynamic and visually stunning experience!
As a big fan, it’s been a bit unsettling seeing changes behind the scenes before the official move. I was really surprised to hear that Jordan Rowley, who’s been with Loose Women for ages, has already left – it definitely feels like things are shifting!
He announced he was let go from his position and posted a series of photos with the women from the show ‘Loose Women,’ like Ruth, as he looked back on his years with ITV.
Stars like Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, and Nadia Sawalha shared tributes to Jordan on social media.
Meanwhile, Lorraine’s long-time editor Victoria Kennedy also announced she is leaving her role.
Victoria, who has led the programme for more than eight years, announced on LinkedIn that she is stepping down as Editor at the end of the month.
