As a dedicated follower of The Nolans, I must say that their journey through fame, struggles, and triumphs has been nothing short of inspiring. From their humble beginnings in Blackpool to sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in music, they’ve proven time and again that they are a force to be reckoned with.
Linda Nolan was left ‘howling‘ after it was claimed that The Nolans were to support Oasis on tour.
Previously known for participating in Celebrity Big Brother, the woman, now aged 65, gained notoriety alongside her sisters Anne, Coleen, Bernie (who sadly passed away in 2013 due to cancer), Denise, and Maureen. Their most successful song remains “I’m Feeling Like Dancing.”
However, when jokers altered the band’s Wikipedia entry to claim they’d support Oasis on their upcoming tour next year, she found it amusing.
Linda wrote on X/Twitter: ‘This has made me HOWL… Who edited our Wikipedia page?’
It was verified that Linda stated neither she nor her siblings have received an invitation for the stadium tour, yet the matriarch of the quarreling brothers is known to be a fan of the popular girl group, and on one occasion, Noel had to halt Coleen from Loose Women fame at a train station to inform her.

She added: ‘Definitely haven’t been asked, but have a great time
‘Fun fact: Liam and Noel’s mum is a Nolans fan! Noel once stopped Coleen at Euston Station, as he said his mum would kill him if he didn’t say hi to her.’
In my expert opinion, I must share that the journey to stardom for the Nolans started right in our beloved hometown of Blackpool, where we first captivated audiences with our performances at local working men’s clubs. It was in 1974 that we took a significant step forward by releasing our albums, marking the beginning of our rise to fame.
Beyond their iconic chart-topper, I simply can’t get enough of their other smashing hits such as “Gotta Pull Myself Together,” “Who’s Gonna Rock You,” and the electrifying “Chemistry.” They never fail to leave me in awe!
In 1994, the collective disbanded, and subsequently, the siblings ventured into musical theater where they achieved noteworthy acclaim. Remarkably, three of them even landed the leading roles as Mrs. Johnstone in Blood Brothers.
Among the panelists of Loose Women, Coleen, who is 59 years old and happens to be the youngest, has been a constant presence since 2000. Lately, she kicked off her inaugural solo concert tour.

In 2009, they reunited, minus Anne, for a tour. Later, in 2020, they joined forces once more, this time for a reality show.

In 2006, Linda was given the good news that she was free from breast cancer, but unfortunately, she was diagnosed with an incurable form of secondary cancer in 2017.
Earlier this week, she found herself struggling to hold back her tears as she implored cancer to spare her loved ones.
On Thursday, during her appearance on Google My Business, Linda disclosed that she’s about to start a fresh round of chemotherapy due to recent updates – and also announced the possibility of losing her hair for the fifth occasion.
Linda’s siblings, Colleen and Anne, have had cancer in their past as well. Linda is included among them.
