Linda Evans, 82, Spreads Love on Valentine’s Day: You Won’t Believe Her Heartfelt Message!

Linda Evans posted a sweet Valentine’s Day message on her Instagram account.

A striking woman, sporting blond locks, waved a scarlet cardboard heart, accompanied by her dog, adorned with a large red ribbon on its collar.

Linda was the star of nighttime television soap opera Dynasty which aired from 1981 until 1989.

Currently, an 82-year-old actress from Hollywood portrayed the role of the pure and attractive character named Krystle Carrington, who was married to the charming wealthy man, Blake Carrington, depicted by John Forsythe.

But she had to battle her husband’s evil ex-wife Alexis Carrington, played by Joan Collins.

That led to catfights and very high ratings. 

Currently, Linda, formerly married to John Derek (Bo Derek’s ex), enjoys her retirement life flourishing in the city of Washington.

Evans’ first guest-starring role was on a 1960 episode of Bachelor Father. 

The series starred John Forsythe, with whom she would costar 20 years later on Dynasty.

Between 1960 and 1962, she made guest appearances on shows like The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The Lieutenant, and Wagon Train. However, it wasn’t until 1965 that she landed her first recurring role on television, which was in The Big Valley.

She played stunning Audra Barkley, the daughter of Victoria Barkley (played by Barbara Stanwyck).

Subsequently, she made guest appearances on shows like The Rockford Files with James Garner, Mannix, Harry O starring David Janssen, Banacek featuring George Peppard, McCloud with Dennis Weaver, and McMillan & Wife alongside Rock Hudson.

In 1977, she starred with James Franciscus and Ralph Bellamy in the series Hunter.

After that came the 1979 thriller, “Avalanche Express,” followed by a collaboration in 1980 with Steve McQueen in the film “Tom Horn.”

Afterward, in 1979, she appeared in the thriller “Avalanche Express”. In 1980, she teamed up with Steve McQueen for the movie “Tom Horn.

Then came Dynasty, which in January 1981.

When Collins was added to the cast as the villain ex-wife of Blake, ratings went up.

Evans left Dynasty in 1989, four months before the series came to an end.

In 1991, Evans returned to the role of Krystle for the television miniseries Dynasty: The Reunion.

Then she was in three made-for-TV movies in the 1990s, but then retired.

2009 saw Evans emerging victorious on the British television show, Hell’s Kitchen. In the year 2021, he made an appearance in the film titled Swan Song.

When she turned 80, she talked about aging.

Reflecting on her past, The Big Valley star admitted that if given another chance, she would approach her twenties with a completely different perspective.

In a chat at her residence in Tacoma, Washington, she disclosed the mere two aspects she wouldn’t alter.

She expressed that if given the chance, she would purchase her home in Tacoma once more and continuously seek love, stating so. Yet, she has cherished each experience and test in her life. Although she has endured much hardship, she takes pride in it.

The soap star spoke about her quiet life in Washington. 

She stated, “I exclusively take up unique assignments that bring me immense pleasure. This is why, in 2019, upon being captivated by a screenplay penned by the director Todd Stephens, I agreed to play a part in his [2021] movie.

She mentioned that ‘[Swan Song] narrates the tale of a mature man, tinged with regret over his life, who undergoes rebirth upon reflecting on his past.’

Evans discussed reflecting on her past and discovering self-acceptance. She expressed that learning to genuinely love herself, even though it came later in life, has been incredibly meaningful for her.

The actress has been married twice in her life. 

In 1968, she tied the knot with the late, versatile performer and filmmaker John Derek; their marriage lasted until 1974.

A year later, she married Sexual Intent actor Stan Herman until their subsequent divorce in 1979.

The Connecticut star has no children and lives a peaceful life by herself. 

Her last publicly known relationship started in 1989. 

For nearly ten years, she was romantically involved with the renowned Greek musician Yanni. However, their relationship ended in 1998 when they decided to part ways.

In 2014, he told Oprah: ‘Linda is one of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever met in my life.’ 

The attractive woman posted a nostalgic picture from the past and penned an inspiring commentary about growing older: ‘As I reach this stage in life, I cherish each passing decade with a sense of amazement and wonder at the return of every summer. My experiences and adventures may now hold different significance.’
