Lily James and Glen Powell: Giddy and Chivalrous After Pre-BAFTA Party – See the Photos!

On Saturday evening in London, following a pre-BAFTA celebration, Lily James appeared joyful as she leaped into a taxi with Glen Powell, suggesting their spirits were high.

Actress from Mamma Mia, aged 35, and a 36-year-old actor were present at the Charles Finch & Chanel BAFTA Party, which took place at LouLou’s in Mayfair during May.

In a courteous gesture, Glen lent his gray coat to Lily as they walked towards the waiting car, with her wearing it on her shoulders.

They were chuckling and grinning, sharing a blissful moment, seated comfortably in the rear of their hired vehicle, with no worries on their minds.

In the 2018 movie titled The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, these two actors shared the screen as romantic partners.

In this movie, Lily takes on the role of Juliet Ashton, whereas Glen portrays Mark Reynolds. The narrative unfolds, detailing their relationship progression from engagement to an unfortunate separation.

For her evening out, Lily chose a Chanel bouclé two-piece ensemble, made up of a fitted jacket and coordinating skirt.

In this scenario, the actress raised herself by wearing high-heeled shoes at the back and held a tiny handbag on a silver strap.

Currently, it’s believed that Lily is unattached. Back in December, she was spotted exiting the popular celebrity haunt, Chiltern Firehouse, with Brian Chesky, the CEO of Airbnb, who hails from the U.S. and boasts a significant fortune.

US businessman Chesky, estimated to have a net worth of £6.2 billion, appeared to want to avoid public attention when out with Downton Abbey actor. He exited the club through a rear exit and attempted to conceal his identity as they both got into a waiting Range Rover from an inconspicuous location.

It is not clear how the pair know each other.

43-year-old Joe Chesky, one of the founders of the short-term rental app established in 2007, currently ranks as the 355th wealthiest individual globally, according to Forbes. Until their separation in 2022, he was in a long-term relationship with artist Elissa Patel.

In a well-known turn of events, Lily’s romantic past is quite vibrant. She was involved with Michael Shuman, a member of Queens of the Stone Age, although their current status remains uncertain.

Lily was romantically connected during filming of “The Pursuit of Love” with the married actor, Dominic West, and had a long-term romance spanning over five years with the previous “Doctor Who”, Matt Smith.

The actress will be back on the big screen next year in a reboot of 1993 thriller Cliffhanger. 

In addition, she is expected to feature in the movie “Swiped,” which tells the story of Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of the dating app Bumble. Perhaps Airbnb’s CEO could share his experiences with her, being a successful figure in the tech industry.

Meanwhile Glen is also thought to be single currently.

In a recent interview on CBS Mornings last June, this handsome individual shared that he isn’t actively seeking romance at the moment, yet he remains receptive if love decides to show up in his life.

Additionally, there were whispers about romantic entanglements surrounding him and his Anybody But You costar, Sydney Sweeney. However, they both clarified that they weren’t in a romantic relationship. Interestingly, Glen admitted that they intentionally fueled the rumors to generate buzz for their movie.
