Lily Gladstone Stuns Again: Rewears Iconic Dress at 2025 SAG Awards!

Lily Gladstone’s 2025 SAG Awards dress was one she wore last year.

On a Sunday night, the 38-year-old actress decided to wear a very special gown once more for the 31st edition of the awards event held in Los Angeles.

She recycled the sparkly, black Gucci gown she first debuted at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

This time, she opted for a new style on the dress, while gathering her hair loosely at the back into a low ponytail, highlighting the dress’s distinctive square neckline and its stylish cap sleeves.

Additionally, she adorned herself with striking, attention-grabbing earrings that matched the circular embellishments on the neckline of her dress.

Previously at the Oscars ceremony last year, Gladstone received a nomination for the category of Best Actress, recognizing her exceptional acting in Martin Scorsese’s film “Killers of the Flower Moon.

She was not only the initial Native American actress to receive an Academy Award nomination, but she was also the fourth indigenous actress to achieve this milestone in the particular category.

As an over-the-moon fan, I couldn’t help but be thrilled to learn that my beloved actress, Gladstone, got nominated at the SAG Awards! Can you believe it? She was recognized for her outstanding performance by a female actor in a television movie or limited series, all thanks to her breathtaking portrayal in Under the Bridge. I’m still on cloud nine from this fantastic news!

Last year, she wore the dress with her long hair down and parted to the side.

She adorned herself with a vibrant, dark red lipstick, an eye-catching neckpiece, and a shimmering wristband bracelet.

Last year, she also collaborated with Gucci for her Oscars red carpet look.

In collaboration with Indigenous artisan and designer Joe Big Mountain, along with celebrity stylist Jason Rembert, the fashion studio crafted a unique, deep-blue evening dress accompanied by a coordinating velvet cape embellished with intricate quill designs.

For the Vanity Fairs Oscars party, she changed into her fan-favorite black gown.

The black corseted dress features chevron-patterned beaded fringe and porcupine-quill neckline.

The intricate design is highlighted by 24 carat gold-plated beads, glass beads and brass sequins.

she made a bold fashion choice by bringing back an old dress, following her past efforts on the red carpet to promote Indigenous artists, as her new style statement this time around.

In line with her commitment to sustainability, she chose to recycle her iconic gown from last year for another special occasion.

It has been announced that the National Museum of the American Indian, a part of the Smithsonian, will showcase her two Oscar dresses.

For the next year, her two outfits are going to be showcased at the museum located in Washington, D.C., as part of the unique exhibition titled “Making a Statement.

This past week, museum curator Anya Montiel discussed the choice to feature Gladstone’s unique, jointly created gowns, designed by Gucci in collaboration with Joe Big Mountain from Ironhorse Quillwork.

Lily Gladstone is known for featuring Native American designers at high-profile events such as the Oscars. This marks the initial collaboration between an Indigenous artist and a prestigious fashion house like Gucci, showcasing their exquisite designs.
