Lily Collins Shares Adorable Easter Pics of Baby Tove

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d rephrase it like this: On a joyful Easter Sunday, new mother Lily Collins shared precious moments of her little one, Tove, in heartwarming Instagram posts.

36-year-old Lily Collins, known for her role in Emily in Paris, had a quiet day out with her spouse, Charlie McDowell, and their child, following a fashionable denim photo shoot for Calvin Klein.

Previously, in January, the pair revealed that they had a new addition to their family – a baby girl born through a surrogate. Later on, the director defended themselves against unkind remarks concerning surrogacy.

Collins posted a selfie, revealing a gentle grin towards the lens, dressed casually in a pastel pink sweater adorned with cute white bunny motifs at the neckline.

I sport a mid-parted, cascading brown bob that gracefully ends just shy of my shoulder blades.

Apart from that, Lily likewise displayed Tove’s Easter attire, featuring a pretty pink sweater embellished with a bunny design and matching light-brown corduroy trousers.

The star added a brief clip displaying her child donning soft bunny-themed slippers, along with a floral onesie too.

In a moment that encapsulates tranquility under the overcast heavens, I found myself cradling our little bundle of joy, my cherished daughter, amidst the verdant expanse of a lush field.

In a different photo, Lily, the daughter of musician Phil Collins, displayed another stylish ensemble for Tove. This time it was a set of cream-knitted overall shorts adorned with an embroidered rabbit face on the chest.

I shared a peek into our Easter meal preparation by posting a picture on my platform, showcasing an outdoor picnic setup on a rustic wooden table, which currently boasts 29 million followers.

On top, a crisp white cloth was laid, accompanied by soft pink napkins and vividly blue glasses. In the center, a splash of color was added through beautiful flowers, while silverware completed the arrangement.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “In my latest post, I affectionately referred to our adorable Easter bunny as…

On Easter Sunday, I couldn’t resist sharing another snapshot of my cozy slippers and embroidered beanie on my Instagram stories, adding a touch of sweetness to the day.

In January, a few months ago, newlyweds Lily and Charlie announced that their daughter, Tove, had been born through a surrogate, following their wedding in 2021.

In that moment, the actress posted a photo on Instagram showing her newborn baby sleeping peacefully in a small crib, covered by a white sheet adorned with her daughter’s name.

‘Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,’ the Mirror Mirror actress wrote.

Our heartfelt thanks can hardly capture the boundlessness of our appreciation for our extraordinary surrogate, and all those who supported us throughout this journey. To them, we extend our love that reaches beyond the stars and back…again and again.

Collins has since given updates to her fans on social media as she continues to enjoy motherhood.

On Valentine’s Day, the celebrity posted a loving selfie, capturing her with her spouse Charlie and their child.

Lily wrote, “I honestly can’t envision any greater love. Valentine’s Day (and every day) has become even more delightful…

Last month, the mother who recently gave birth also turned 36 years old and posted even more photos of her little girl.

As a new mother, I have never felt this level of happiness or believed that anything could be more extraordinary. This incredible journey has been nothing short of enchanting, and the year ahead promises to be equally beautiful. Words cannot capture the depth of my gratitude…

Apart from that, she’s begun providing Tove with a musical upbringing and even posted a heartwarming video of them dancing along to Genesis’ song “I Can’t Dance.

From 1980 until 1996, Phil Collins served as the lead vocalist for a well-known rock band before stepping away to concentrate on his individual career. However, he returned to the group at later dates, including during their reunion tour from 2021-2022.

After learning about Lily and Charlie’s exciting news of becoming parents, I couldn’t help but feel a wave of joy wash over me. However, when I saw the backlash they faced regarding their choice to have their first child through surrogacy, my heart sank. But McDowell wasn’t going to let that stop him from standing up for his family. Shortly after, he swiftly addressed the criticism head-on.

When it comes to the insensitive remarks concerning surrogacy and our journey towards parenthood, remember it’s perfectly fine if you’re not well-versed in the topic of surrogacy.

The offspring of Malcolm McDowell, known for his role in A Clockwork Orange, remarked, ‘It’s perfectly fine to be unsure about why someone might resort to a surrogate for childbearing. It’s also acceptable to not understand the reasons behind a surrogate, regardless of any assumptions you may have.’

It’s alright to reduce the amount of harmful speech you share, particularly when referring to a lovely little girl who has been spreading love around.

Charlie ended by saying, ‘I have to wrap up for a moment as she’s just had an accident in her diaper and needs a change.’

Previously, Collins openly shared about her longing to establish a family, and she admitted that this aspiration played a significant role in her recovery from an eating disorder.

In a previous chat with Us Weekly back in 2017, she shared that everyone experiences recovery differently, and she personally never had a defining “aha” moment in her journey.

The trigger for me to discuss my long-hidden eating disorder was when I acknowledged my strong desire to have a family and children. I didn’t want this struggle to be part of the life I would pass on to them.
