Lily Collins looks as chic as ever in a polka dot dress as she films scenes for fifth season of Emily In Paris in Venice

Lily Collins exuded timeless elegance during filming sessions for the approaching fifth season of Emily in Paris last Friday.

The 36-year-old actress, playing the main role, is jetting off to Venice, Italy, as the show will trace her path towards Rome in its upcoming episodes.

In the restaurant setting, Lily donned a sophisticated polka-dotted dress featuring a bandeau neckline, complemented by a coordinating scarf.

She neatly gathered her hair into a polished, shiny hairstyle with a dark hue, and accentuated her attire by adding eye-catching earrings.

At the conclusion of series four, Emily faced a crucial choice, presented with an opportunity to assume the role of the head of the Italian branch of Agence Grateau.

Even though Emily had grown fond of Paris and the workplace, she found herself drawn towards the prospect of starting anew – along with a different partner – in Rome.

Fans might recall that Emily and Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo) experienced a breakup in their romantic journey, as their relationship attempts only started after Gabriel ended things with Camille.

After the uproar caused by a fabricated pregnancy rumor, Camille clarified that she was not pregnant at all. Subsequently, Emily and Gabriel began contemplating a potential romantic path together.

Nevertheless, fate had other plans for the troubled pair of lovers who couldn’t reconcile their disagreements. Instead, she found herself drawn towards Marcello, whom she encountered while skiing in Megève. This encounter came about after she was left stranded atop a slope by Gabriel.

They ran into each other once more at a polo tournament in Paris, and they spent an evening out exploring the city together, an adventure that continued till the break of dawn when he invited her for a trip to Rome.

Emily chose to listen to her feelings and journeyed to encounter Marcello. In addition to this, Sylvie, her superior, assigned her the job of obtaining their business from Marcello’s family. Yet, Emily felt hesitant about blending professional duties with personal connections.

Encountering an obstacle arose when he discovered she intended to establish a business connection with his family, who ran a high-end cashmere enterprise. However, they were able to smooth over their differences in the end.

A problem cropped up as he found out about her ambition to forge a professional bond with his family’s luxury cashmere firm. But ultimately, they were able to resolve their disagreements.

Currently, Gabriel engaged in an open discussion with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), during which he advised Gabriel to make an effort to rekindle things with Emily, even though they had a past romantic relationship between them.

However, even though he hastened to Rome with the intention of rejoining her, Emily was nowhere to be found since she was spending a delightful day with her love, Marcello.

Regarding the forthcoming series, Lucas suggested: ‘It seems like Gabriel may struggle to let Emily go without a fight, which could potentially lead him into making a significant error.’

After a significant argument and some time apart, it’s clear they needed space. However, as the season progressed, I believe he came to understand that he didn’t want to lose Emily, and feelings may have changed for him.

I’m not sure what that implies. It doesn’t automatically mean they’ll be together right away or at all. To be honest, I believe he feels there’s some leftover matters between the two of them.

On the bright side, the couple still has a chance, since showrunner Darren Star clarified that the entire season isn’t relocating to Rome.

He informed Deadline that she hasn’t altered her Instagram username to “Emily in Rome.” Instead, she occasionally works in Rome as her company, which happens to have a branch there, is where she carries out some of her duties.

As an ardent admirer, I’m excited to share that Emily seems to be exploring the idea of settling in Rome, but let me clarify, this isn’t about packing up and permanently relocating to the Eternal City. In my heart of hearts, I fervently believe it’s just a temporary sojourn. Rest assured, Paris remains our cherished home.

As a devoted fan, I eagerly anticipate that the show will hit our screens later this year, however, it appears that one of its primary actors won’t be reprising their role in the new season.

Camille Razat, aged 31 and known for her role as Camille in the romantic comedy-drama, shared a heartfelt farewell message on Instagram, expressing her feelings following changes made to her character that left many fans disappointed.

Since the series debuted on the streaming platform in 2020, I have had the privilege of playing both confidante and romantic adversary to Emily on the show, standing by her side as a dedicated friend.

Now, after five years on our screens as Camille, the actress is ready to move on.

She posted a selection of pictures documenting her experience on the show, and in a heartfelt message, announced that she has chosen to depart from the role of Emily in Paris.

It’s been an absolutely marvelous journey, rich in learning, inspiration, and moments I’ll always cherish.

I’m extremely appreciative to @starmandarren and the whole crew at both @netflix and @paramountpics for their faith in me and offering me the chance to breathe life into Camille. They’ve graciously kept the possibility of her return alive, as she remains an integral part of Emily in Paris’ universe.

This character has held significant importance for me, and it seems fitting that her narrative has concluded, opening up opportunities for me to delve into fresh experiences.

Just a quick update! I’ve recently wrapped up work on two captivating series – “Nero” for Netflix and “The Lost Station Girls” for Disney+. The experience has been nothing short of exhilarating, and I can hardly wait for you all to see these projects come to life.

On top of that exciting news, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my very own production company, @tazar_production. This new chapter promises a unique blend of creativity, innovation, and storytelling that I can’t wait to bring to the table. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this incredible journey together!

Our primary focus at the moment is creating music videos and short films. However, we are actively working on our debut full-length movie, a project that ignites my passion and fuels my excitement for future growth.

Here’s a possible way to rephrase that sentence while maintaining its original meaning:

“As I depart from this production, all I’m taking away is warmth and respect towards the actors, technicians, and audience members who have stood by us throughout our journey. Thank you for making this experience so memorable.

Her fans and co-stars rushed to the comments section to share their support.

Lily expressed: “I love you, my sister! What a thrilling journey it’s been, truly enjoyable. You’re like a star on stage. I’m so very proud of you!

Philippine Beaulieu added: ‘You’ll be so missed ma chérie Frenchie!!!’

Since the beginning, you’ve been like my partner in this production. Your love for storytelling, your unique dark humor, and your consistent commitment to being genuine, even when things try to pull you off course, are all commendable.

Camille, you’re truly unique, and it’s been a genuine honor for me to dance with you throughout these seasons. Continue to radiate your brilliance.

‘I’m going to miss laughing with you. I’m cheering you on in everything you do.’

Emily In Paris premiered on Netflix in October 2020.

The synopsis on the streaming service reads: ‘New passions. New fashions. New Emily?

‘An ambitious American marketer expands her horizons personally and romantically, thriving in her coveted position in Paris.’
