Lily Allen SNUBBED at the BRIT Awards in all three categories as she’s a surprise no-show at the ceremony

Lily Allen was snubbed at the 2026 BRIT Awards as she missed out on a gong in all three categories.

The singer, age 40, topped the charts last year with her fifth album, West End Girl, but unexpectedly missed Saturday’s awards ceremony at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.

Okay, so my take on the recent awards? While Lily’s new album is doing incredibly well – seriously, it’s a hit! – she unfortunately didn’t take home the wins in the big categories. Olivia Dean snagged Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Pop Act, and honestly, she deserved it! It’s a reminder that success isn’t always about awards, but it’s still a little disappointing for Lily’s fans.

The singer behind “Not Fair” wrote “West End Girl” to tell the story of her divorce from actor David Harbour, age 50.

She openly and honestly discussed the problems in her marriage, revealing details like discovering her husband, David Harbour, had frequented a strip club and that he had a relationship with someone named Madeline, as well as accusations of other affairs.

Despite being nominated eight times previously, Lily skipped out on the evening all together.

Before the event, sources suggested she might have faced an awkward reception at the VIP area of the Co-op Live Arena, particularly from friends of Nicole Appleton.

In her 2018 autobiography, Lily described a romantic encounter with Liam Gallagher after they met on a flight to Japan. They were both traveling to perform at the Fuji Rocks Festival in 2009, and the meeting involved alcohol.

Liam and singer Nicole Appleton, 51, reportedly had a romantic encounter in First Class just one year into their marriage.

Someone familiar with the entertainment industry told The Sun that Lily’s behavior is shockingly hypocritical, especially considering how she treated Nicole in the past.

She’s acting like she’s the ultimate victim, enjoying all the attention and profiting from her album about getting even.

Nicole had an affair with a married man and later wrote a book detailing the experience, which has not been forgiven by her friends. Many of those friends are prominent figures attending tonight’s Brit Awards, including high-ranking executives and well-known artists.

They see Lily as a hypocrite who doesn’t mind benefiting from others’ affairs, as long as she’s not the one being betrayed.

Daily Mail has contacted representatives.

Nicole won’t be at the awards show this year, but her son, Gene Gallagher, will be there. Her former brother-in-law, Noel, and niece, Anais, are also expected to attend.

In her memoir, Lily wrote about getting very drunk on a flight. She and Liam ended up alone in the airplane bathroom, engaging in something inappropriate that wasn’t related to drugs. They then lay down together.

As soon as we arrived in Tokyo, Liam, with his very noticeable way of speaking, asked if I wanted to go back to the hotel with him. I just said, ‘Sure, okay’.

It didn’t occur to me until the following day, when he said something along the lines of, ‘This can’t get out because of Nic,’ that he was actually married.

Wow, last night was incredible for Olivia Dean at the BRITs! As a huge fan, I was absolutely thrilled to see her dominate – she won every award she was up for, taking home a total of four! It was a truly unforgettable night and she absolutely deserved all the recognition.

After a challenging few months, Lola Young celebrated winning the breakthrough artist award, following her first Grammy win.

She ended her tour early to focus on her mental health, but recently made a comeback, even performing to accept an award.

Dave, a 27-year-old British rapper, recently won an award in the Hip Hop category. This win follows the release of his third studio album, ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp,’ which came out late last year.

Fred Again… (Fred Gibson), along with Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax, won the award for Dance, and Sam Fender was named Best Rock artist.

Mark Ronson, the acclaimed musician and producer with ten Grammy Awards, was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award and then performed live.

SAULT won the R&B award, Jacob Alon received the Critics Choice award, and PinkPanthress was named Producer of the Year.

Geese was named Best International Group, and Rosalía won Best International Artist. ROSE and Bruno Mars jointly received the award for International Song of the Year.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m still reeling! Rosé and Bruno Mars won International Song of the Year with ‘APT’! And she was there to accept the award! Seeing Rosé up on stage, holding that award… it was everything! I seriously can’t stop smiling. ‘APT’ deserves all the recognition in the world, and Rosé and Bruno are just incredible together. I’m so proud!

Wolf Alice took home the Group of the Year award following the positive reception of their latest album, The Clearing.

Rosalía, the popular Spanish singer, was named International Artist of the Year, winning the award over other major stars like Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and Lady Gaga.

Winner Olivia Dean has quickly become music’s most popular woman in recent months.

The singer, originally from Tottenham, won a Grammy for Best New Artist earlier in the year. She’s become popular for her soulful pop songs, including ‘Man I Need’ and ‘The Art of Loving’.

Harry Styles performed live on stage just a week before the release of his new album, ‘Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally’.

Raye, a seven-time BRIT Award winner, performed her popular song “Where Is My Husband,” which was up for Song of the Year.

Performances also included Wolf Alice, ROSALIA, Alex Warren, SOMBR, RAYE, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI, and the vocalists from HUNTR/X, the popular KPop group featured in the Netflix series, KPop Demon Hunters.

This year’s BRIT Awards was held in Manchester for the first time since the ceremony began in 1977.

They’ve performed at many famous venues over the years, including Earl’s Court, the London Arena, Alexandra Palace, Hammersmith Apollo, the Dominion Theatre, the Royal Albert Hall, the Grosvenor Hotel, and their very first location, Wembley Conference Centre.

However, relocating the ceremony from the capital marks a significant turning point in its history – perhaps the most dramatic one yet.

According to a source speaking with the Daily Mail, the BRIT Awards are leaving London for the first time in their 47-year history. Since the awards began in 1977, they’ve always been held in the capital city.

It will likely be disappointing for artists and performers in London, but many in the music industry believe these events don’t always have to take place at the same locations every year.

Oh my gosh, the BRITs! It’s the night for British music, and I’m so excited because it’s going to be way easier for people like me, up here in Manchester and around, to actually go! It feels like it’s finally coming to us, and I can’t wait!

Recently, many people have wanted the awards ceremony to be held outside of London, following the examples of events like The Mercury Prize and The MOBO Awards. For the first time, this move will make the music industry less focused on London, benefiting both those nominated and their fans.

Jason Iley, CEO of Sony Music UK & Ireland, announced that The BRIT Awards are moving to Manchester. He believes hosting the show in a city with such a rich musical history will energize the event and continue the BRITs’ tradition of supporting and celebrating great music.

Manchester’s lively and historic culture makes it the ideal city to host the BRIT Awards. I’m really excited to experience the show at the incredible new Co-op Live arena.
