Lily Allen hosted a lively and playful party in Los Angeles on Thursday night to keep the celebration going for her new album, ‘West End Girl,’ which details her recent breakup.

Her new album is getting a lot of attention because of its raw and very direct lyrics detailing the end of her four-year marriage to David Harbour. The couple separated last December after she publicly claimed he was unfaithful.

Okay, so I was at this party, and honestly, I was floored! This incredible singer, she’s forty and looked amazing in this really glamorous lingerie with fur trim, totally blew everyone away. But the biggest surprise? She gave out party favors… and they were USB-powered butt plugs! I couldn’t believe it, but it was definitely a night to remember!

The singer shared photos on Instagram showing her having fun after a fancy dinner, playfully posing with some adult toys.

She initially arrived wearing a stylish black and white mini dress. Later, she changed into a shimmering, short babydoll dress with a low neckline, layering it with a coordinating robe.

After dinner, the guests went to an afterparty at the famous Chateau Marmont. The singer sang karaoke and then started dancing.

After pop star Lily revealed details of her husband Harbour’s infidelity in her new, emotionally raw album, his former girlfriend, Alison Sudol, has publicly voiced her support.

The actress and songwriter responded to a post Lily made this week about her new album, using Instagram to do so.

I couldn’t help but notice something interesting online! Lily just shared a post about her new record, and Alison – you might remember she dated David back in 2018, before things got serious with Lily – responded with a whole bunch of fire emojis. It definitely caught my eye, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since!

Everyone’s been buzzing about the song ‘Madeline,’ and honestly, it feels like she’s finally confronting David about his affair. She even gives the woman he had it with a made-up name within the lyrics – it’s a really powerful and direct approach, and I think it’s brilliant.

The second verse of Lily’s song, “Pussy Palace,” poignantly describes discovering a box of letters from women who wished her partner had treated them better.

In 2018, Alison publicly expressed her affection for Harbour on Instagram during Valentine’s Day, calling herself fortunate to be with him.

I was just thinking about how amazing the person I’m with is, as we navigate life together. They truly are unbelievable.

It’s amazing to share life with such a kind, warm, and joyful person. Just doing everyday things together – enjoying meals, reading aloud, and even watching our dog sleep – feels incredibly special, doesn’t it?

It’s unclear what led to Alison and David’s relationship breaking down in 2019. 

Alison, originally from Los Angeles, is famous for playing Queenie Goldstein in the Fantastic Beasts movies and their follow-ups.

She’s starting her tour in Glasgow, and then will perform in Liverpool, Newcastle, Bristol, and Cardiff.

The tour will end with two performances by Lily at the famous London Palladium.

After her breakup with David, Lily sought help at a specialized treatment center costing £8,000 per week to prioritize her well-being and mental health.

She shared that she uses her music to process difficult emotions and express her honest feelings.

I went straight to the studio, had a good cry – seriously, a long cry – and then I decided to channel all that emotion into creating something beautiful. Lily recently suggested she’s reconciled with her ex-husband. In a recent interview, she stated she has no desire for revenge against him, hinting at a repaired relationship.

Lily recently told Interview magazine that her perspective on her divorce has changed since she first publicly discussed it last December.

When asked if her new album was created as a way to get back at someone, Lily explained that wasn’t the case. She wrote the album very quickly, in just 10 days in December, and has since moved on from the difficult feelings she had at the time. She acknowledged that breakups are always incredibly painful for everyone.

‘But I don’t think it’s that often that you feel inclined to write about it while you’re in it.’

She explained that the album’s appeal comes from how it feels like simply going through the motions. While she was working on it, she was dealing with a lot and trying to understand her feelings, which she thinks makes the album strong. But now, she’s moved past any confusion or anger and doesn’t feel any need for revenge.
