The 40-year-old singer is currently touring theaters across the country with her new album, which explores the emotions surrounding her divorce from David Harbour. She’ll be expanding the tour to arenas worldwide later this summer.

Nieves expressed feeling incredibly happy and humbled to have her art featured at the National Portrait Gallery. She also said she was very grateful to be involved in the ‘West End Girl’ project.
She explained that she aimed for a photograph that felt personal and impactful, yet still conveyed the subject’s strength and intelligence, as seen through the perspective of modern women.
‘That balance between the classical and the contemporary was essential to me.
This piece explores the creative process where art and music intersect, revealing its many complexities and nuances.
Drawing inspiration from the style of classic portraits isn’t about imitating the past; it’s about adopting that same sense of power and using it to tell a new story.
Lily’s album, ‘West End Girl,’ is well-known as a tribute to her former husband, David, and their difficult split. She’s now touring the country performing songs from the album.
