Lily Allen packs on the PDA with Jonah Freud as they celebrate the unveiling of her West End Girl album cover at the National Portrait Gallery

Lily Allen appeared very taken with her new boyfriend, Jonah Freud, as they went out to celebrate the reveal of her portrait at the National Portrait Gallery.

The famous cover art for the singer’s ‘West End Girl’ album went on display at a London art gallery on Thursday and will be shown for a full year.

Okay, so after a really fun event, I was totally craving a night out! I grabbed my boyfriend and some friends and we went to this great bar called Reference Point to keep the celebration going. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the good vibes.

Lily, age 40, seemed happy and relaxed on the outing, sharing cigarettes and getting close to Jonah outside.

She looked stylish and put-together in a tweed jacket and black mini skirt, and she wore heeled boots to add some height.

Lily is in a new, serious relationship with 28-year-old artist Jonah. This is her first significant romance since divorcing her husband of four years, actor David Harbour.

Their dramatic breakup, fueled by claims of David’s infidelity, inspired her to write the album, West End Girl.

West End Girl received high praise from critics and topped the Official Album Downloads Chart. The album’s cover art was also exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery.

Spanish artist Nieves Gonzalez painted a picture of Lily wearing a blue puffer jacket, a lace miniskirt, and spotted boots.

Lily said: ‘I’m so pleased to make this special painting available for everyone to see.

Nieves perfectly understood the album’s vibe, and I instantly knew it would make a fantastic cover.

I think the album cover perfectly captures the album’s many sides – its strength, power, but also its vulnerability, drive, and moments of uncertainty. It really unlocks the whole experience of listening to it, and I absolutely love it.

Nieves expressed feeling incredibly happy and honored to have her art featured at the National Portrait Gallery. She also said she felt very lucky to be involved in the story of ‘West End Girl’.

She explained that she aimed for a photograph that felt both personal and impactful, capturing the subject’s strength and wisdom as seen through the perspective of modern women.

‘That balance between the classical and the contemporary was essential to me.

This piece explores the creative process where art and music intersect, showcasing its many complexities and dimensions.

Drawing inspiration from the style of classic portraits isn’t about recreating the past; it’s about adopting that same powerful voice to tell a new story.

Lily’s album, West End Girl, is well-known as a tribute to her former husband, David, and their difficult split. She’s currently on tour performing songs from the album.

When she’s not working, Lily is dating Jonah, the son of businessman Matthew Freud and his former wife, Caroline Hutton. He’s also the nephew of the famous artist Lucian Freud, who is now deceased.

Lily and Jonah were recently photographed having coffee together while on a trip to Rome.

A witness saw Lily Allen in Rome and told The Sun that it was their daughter-in-law who first spotted her, exclaiming, “Oh my God, it’s Lily Allen!”

We were shocked to see her – it was definitely her, and she was with Jonah Freud. They were simply enjoying coffee and cigarettes together.

Just before that, Lily was seen on what appeared to be a romantic dinner date with Jonah at a restaurant in west London.

This was the singer’s first public appearance since she was linked to actor James Norton earlier in the year.
