Lily Allen received praise for her singing while performing songs from her latest album, “West End Girl,” which focuses on themes of revenge.
The 40-year-old singer’s new album, released in October, is her first in seven years. It details the end of her marriage to David Harbour, including his cheating and the unhealthy dynamic of their relationship.
On Wednesday night, she performed live at the launch event for Chanel’s Coco Crush jewelry collection, held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
Actor Daniel Nguyen posted impressive videos of the performer singing Sleepwalking, Tennis, Just Enough, Madeline, and Pussy Palace.
While visiting David’s house – a place known for his romantic encounters – she suddenly burst into laughter.
Despite this, viewers were incredibly impressed with her singing, with many sharing comments like ‘She sounds amazing!’ and ‘I have goosebumps!’

Fans celebrated the artist’s first live performance of the song, praising her incredible acoustic versions and calling her a long-time icon. Many were deeply moved by the song’s emotional impact.
Honestly, when I listen to her sing, I can feel everything she went through. I picture the moment she realized what happened, the sheer devastation and how completely betrayed she must have felt – it’s all right there in every single note. It’s like she’s pouring her heart out, and I’m right there with her, experiencing it all.
‘Love to see her enjoying and smashing that performance. Stunning ✨’
Lily, a longtime collaborator with the French fashion house, stunned audiences with her performance, wearing a black gown without a bra.
The black dress was both alluring and sophisticated, and she completed the look with a big, Sixties-inspired beehive hairstyle – a classic choice for her.
Before her performance, she created a “get ready with me” video for Harper’s Bazaar, where she shared her favorite song from West End Girl.
Lily shared: ‘Tonight I’m gonna be performing 3 or 4 songs, depending on how well it goes.
‘My favorite song off of my album West End Girl is maybe Fruityloop, which is the closing song.’
In Fruityloop, Lily reflects on her past relationship, considering how her ex-boyfriend had difficulty handling sudden wealth and recognition. The story then suggests she comes to terms with their breakup.
The lyrics echo the title of her hit 2009 album, with her singing, ‘And finally I see / It’s not me, it’s you.’

Lily is experiencing a resurgence in her career, likely boosted by the popularity of her recent album, ‘West End Girl.’ She’s now taking steps to legally protect the album’s title by applying for a trademark.
David, 50, may have to endure yet more reminders of their five-year union.
Richard Eden of the Daily Mail reported that someone has applied to trademark the name “West End Girl” with the Intellectual Property Office. The trademark would cover a line of clothing, jewelry, and makeup.
The celebrity is also thinking about selling sunglasses, bags, and shoes as part of their product line.
The proposed title is currently classed by the IPO as being under ‘examination’.
