Lily Allen fans unearth throwback clip of singer appearing on TV aged 12 and making bizarre Glastonbury claim – exactly 10 years before making her Worthy Farm debut

Fans of Lily Allen have found an old video of her, one of her earliest TV performances, which she gave when she was just 12 years old.

40-year-old singer made a brief appearance on Channel 4’s Light Lunch in 1997. During her visit, she identified herself and announced the upcoming program segments on the show.

Moving far beyond her rebellious teenage phase and international pop stardom, a youthful and charming individual was captured holding a cute bunny rabbit while speaking to the audience.

In a friendly tone, she announced: “Hi there! I’m Lily Allen, a 12-year-old from Glastonbury. Today on Light Lunch, we get wild with the stars of Animal Hospital, Pet Rescue, and The Really Wild Show. Let’s roll the credits now!

The comedic talk show known as “Light Lunch” was quite well-liked and ran from 1997 to 1999. It was hosted by the talented duo, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins.

She expressed apprehension about sharing the incident with her father, for it apparently became a joke in his hands.

After the game, the TV personality left his soccer equipment in my father’s vehicle, and I had to deliver it back to his hotel.

We made plans to meet at that bar. Later, he treated me to a few drinks before leading me upstairs to his room, where we engaged in intimate activities together.

At the time, I was only 14 years old. He was 19, yet to my perception, he appeared as if he belonged to an entirely distinct era. Following that encounter, I experienced a strange discomfort. I understood that what transpired was not appropriate…
