She realized she needed help and decided to seek treatment at a facility when she began having thoughts of ending her life.

The actor, who has been sober for six years, explained that he felt incredibly hopeless. He said that in the past, he would have turned to drugs and alcohol to cope with such intense emotions, making it very difficult to simply experience those feelings without using substances.

Entering a residential facility felt significant to her. She explained, ‘I’ve been forced into similar situations before, so choosing to go now feels like a step forward.’ She saw this as a sign of her own strength and increased self-awareness.

I realized I was overwhelmed and needed a break, so I decided to take some time for myself.

During a live podcast recording in March, Lily shared that she was still processing her recent breakup.

She admitted: ‘I am not over it. I am sort of running away. Maybe I will have a nervous breakdown.’

After ending her relationship with David, Lily announced in August that she is leaving her New York townhouse.

The couple moved into a stylish art deco house in Brooklyn in 2020, soon after getting married in Las Vegas. The home was so special, it was even showcased in Architectural Digest magazine.

News of their breakup surfaced last December, and shortly after, reports emerged alleging the *Stranger Things* actor had been unfaithful to the singer.

Lily, hoping for a new beginning as she navigates difficulties in her marriage, has bought a flat in London. She recently shared that focusing on decorating has been a positive distraction during this challenging period.
