Lila Moss stuns in a gold mini dress while Charli XCX commands attention in a leopard print coat as they pose for H&M’s A/W 2024 campaign
As a die-hard fan of music and fashion, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and envy upon seeing Lila Moss and Charli XCX grace the runway for H&M’s A/W 2024 campaign. The sultry glamour, the confident swagger, and that electrifying energy they both exude – it’s a spectacle that leaves me longing to be part of their world!
Lila Moss and Charli XCX oozed confidence as they posed for H&M’s A/W 2024 campaign on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old model showcased an alluring pose, draped in a shimmering gold minidress, with her arms clasped around herself.
Meanwhile, Charli commanded attention in a stylish leopard print coat for the stunning new shoot.
The thirty-two-year-old vocalist showcased a subtle, elegant makeup style reminiscent of glamour, as her dark, wavy hair cascaded loosely in curls.
Under her stage name Charli XCX, Charlotte Emma Aitchison is set to join H&M’s worldwide festivities for their new collection by giving a stunning performance at a grand celebration in London.
As an ardent admirer, I can confidently say that Eliana Masgalos, Womenswear Design Director at H&M, has crafted a collection brimming with unique inspirations and top-notch materials. From the sturdy leathers to the cozy knits, not forgetting the shimmering separates, each piece in this collection showcases the remarkable fashion prowess of H&M!
‘It’s all about great clothes: real wardrobe icons. The campaign lets the fashion shine.’
Starting September 12, the H&M Autumn-Winter 2024 collection can be purchased at certain stores globally as well as online.
Charli, known for starting the “Brat summer” wave (named after her album), ignited a pattern characterized by wild party behavior and self-confident individuality.
People who had hoped for an extension of the BRAT summer were let down on Thursday night, as Charli XCX and her captivating new album did not win the prestigious Mercury Prize.
Instead, it was Leeds-based indie group English Teacher who received recognition for their highly praised first album, “This Could Be Texas.
At the renowned Abbey Road Studios in London, the music group led by vocalist Lily Fontaine personally received their accolade since they were present for the occasion where they attended.
As they stepped onto the stage, musicians Fontaine, Lewis Whiting, Douglas Frost, and Nicholas Eden took a moment to express gratitude towards their families, then proceeded to the interview room.
Charli XCX was widely expected to win the award following the release of her sixth album, BRAT, in June, which also ignited a popular trend using the one-syllable title.
Because she’s in the last preparatory phases for her U.S. tour with Troye Sivan, the performer couldn’t make it to the Mercury Prize.
Among the other candidates were CMAT, Barry Who Can’t Swim, Cat Burns, BERWYN, Beth Gibbons, Ghetts, Nia Archive, Corinne Bailey Rae, corto.alto, and The Last Dinner Party. (Note: This version aims to maintain the original order of the names while making it easier for readers to understand.)
The judging team said: ‘This has been a really tough year for the Mercury Prize judges, with the final 12 albums being so reflective of our diverse and rich musical landscape. There was so much passion and enthusiasm for each one.
In conclusion, it was decided that ‘This Could Be Texas’ by the English Teacher is particularly noteworthy due to its uniqueness and distinct personality.
‘This composition skillfully blends surrealism and social commentary, while subtly incorporating innovative musical elements, showcases a refreshing take on the conventional structure of a guitar-based band.’
‘This Could Be Texas reveals new depths on every listen; the mark of a future classic.
The Mercury Prize was established to honor the album as a unique artistic medium, and all the judges concurred that this captivating collection of songs is worthy of being named the 2024 Album of the Year for the Mercury Prize.
