If convicted, Lil Nas X could spend up to five years in prison.

Despite claims by authorities that the artist was on drugs during the incident, his legal representative, Christy O’Connor, refuted these allegations, stating instead that it was merely a strange occurrence in an otherwise successful career.

In the early morning light of August 21st, Lil Nas X was spotted strolling down the streets of Studio City, Los Angeles, only dressed in his undergarments and a set of cowboy boots. Law enforcement officials alleged that he aggressively approached them when they tried to apprehend him.

Outside the courthouse, the father of the artist behind “Old Town Road”, Robert Stafford, addressed the media.
