In relation to the themes presented in “The Waterfront“, Williamson explained that the production revolves around the search for the “least harmful option” amidst challenging and treacherous circumstances.

He explained to Tudum that essentially, it’s a group of individuals prone to errors. They engage in harmful activities, leading to increasingly complex predicaments.

Sometimes I stumble and make regrettable decisions, but every now and then, I manage to navigate my way back on track and make the right call.

The Waterfront is released on Netflix on June 19.
