Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Trailers Spotlight Combat and Adventure
Oh, my dear fellow yakuza enthusiasts! After years of living the life of a hardened gangster, I thought I had seen it all – the blood, the betrayal, the camaraderie that binds us together like the iron clasp on a samurai’s armor. But now, here comes SEGA and RGG Studio, shaking up the yakuza world with the announcement of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
SEGA together with RGG Studio have unveiled two trailers for the game titled “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii“. The videos highlight the game’s action-packed combat, where Goro Majima remains agile even in his later years, and the adventure/exploration aspect.
Similar to Ichiban, but more like Kiryu, in the game “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth“, Majima can saunter around Honolulu wearing a stylish Hawaiian shirt, or delve into the many wonders of Madlantis, including the Pirates’ Coliseum, all dressed up as a pirate.
In a fight, Majima uses his signature blade, whereas in his pirate-inspired persona, he carries a cutlass and flintlock guns. The sight is quite entertaining. Take a look at it in action through the most recent gameplay previews available below.
The action role-playing game “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii” will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 28, 2025. Pre-ordering the game grants access to the Ichiban Kasuga Pirate Crew & Special Outfit as bonuses.
