Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Announced For February 2025 Release
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for the Yakuza series, the announcement of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has sent my heart aflutter! The prospect of playing as Goro Majima, the iconic eye-patched mad dog of Shimano, in a swashbuckling pirate adventure is nothing short of exhilarating.
SEGA together with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have unveiled Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a spin-off titled Infinite Wealth. This new adventure will find the one-eyed Mad Dog of Shimano sailing off to tropical settings, taking on the role of a swashbuckling pirate.
As Goro Majima, you will set sail on an exciting journey, captaining your own vessel, while indulging in the assortment of mini-games at hand. Notable inclusions are the reappearance of Dragon Kart from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the chaotic logistics of Crazy Delivery by Infinite Wealth, and the timeless pastime of Karaoke. A fresh addition is ‘Minato Girls’, which seems to revolve around romance.
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Madlantis and Rich Island, which promise a variety of exciting activities. The game “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii” is set to release on February 28th, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Pre-ordering the game will give you early access to the Ichiban Kasuga Pirate Crew & Special Outfit.
In addition to The Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition will include legendary crewmates, additional ship customization options, classic costumes, an extra karaoke tune, additional music for your game playlist, and much more.
