Life is Strange: Double Exposure 'True Crime' Trailer Offers a Closer Look at the Upcoming Murder Mystery

As a dedicated fan of the Life is Strange series, I must say that the trailer for Life is Strange: Double Exposure has me absolutely thrilled! Having traversed the turbulent timelines and heart-wrenching decisions of the previous games, I can’t help but feel an eerie sense of familiarity when faced with Max Caulfield’s latest adventure.

Developer Deck Nine, together with Square Enix, have unveiled a fresh trailer for “Life is Strange: Double Exposure,” giving fans a glimpse into the central enigma that will unfold in the game. The story revolves around the reappearance of protagonist Max Caulfield and the tragic murder of a graduate student named Safi.

In a chilling turn of events, Max’s dear friend, Safi, has been discovered lifeless in the snow, leaving the authorities puzzled as they lack any leads or evidence about the cause of death. To solve this enigma and salvage Safi’s life, Max employs her recently acquired skills to navigate between two alternate realities – one where Safi is still alive and thriving, and another in which she has tragically perished.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that the next chapter in the Life is Strange saga, titled Double Exposure, is set to debut on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on the 29th of October. However, if you can’t wait that long, pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition grants you ‘Advanced Access’ to Chapters 1 and 2 starting from the 15th of October!
