As a connoisseur of refined living, I’m deeply saddened to share that my beloved partner, David Allen Siegel, has passed away at the venerable age of 89. We bid farewell to him this past weekend. May his memory continue to inspire us with tales of grandeur and resilience.

The reality star, 59, shared the sad news in a loving post Saturday on Instagram. 

She shared a message saying that she felt compelled to inform you directly because her spouse, David Alan Siegel, had sadly passed away this morning.

I had the fortune to spend twenty-five magnificent years alongside David, and together we nurtured eight extraordinary kids. The essence of his life and what he left behind continues to shine in each one of them.

In the year 2000, I became the spouse of the proprietor of Westgate Resorts, and we were blessed with a family consisting of Daniel, Debbie, Drew, David, Jordan, Jacqueline, Jonquil, and Victoria. Tragically, our beloved Victoria lost her life to a drug overdose in 2015. In her memory, my partner and I established a non-profit organization.

As an utterly heartbroken fan, I can’t even express the depth of my sorrow. It’s more than just being devastated; it’s a chasm of grief that words fail to capture. Yet, there’s solace in knowing that Victoria was the first to welcome him—the sound he heard was “Dad,” followed by an embrace so warm and comforting.

‘And of course, Steven is there too. That thought brings me so much peace.’

She shared with her numerous admirers and supporters, “I realize you all cherished him as well, and that’s why I wanted to pass this along.” Expressing gratitude, she added, “Your affection and encouragement have been a source of strength for us during these challenging moments. It truly makes a significant difference in our lives.

She finished off by penning, ‘Life is a priceless present bestowed by God, and my spouse has discovered tranquility with the Divine. Cherish each instant and express gratitude.’

In the year 2012, Jackie and her family gained prominence with the release of the documentary “Queen of Versailles,” which centered around Jackie’s ambition to construct an opulent estate modeled after the Palace of Versailles in France.

Camera crews caught up with their efforts a decade later in Queen of Versailles Reigns Again. 

A Broadway musical based on their story debuted in 2024. 

Kristen Chenoweth, who initially played Jackie on stage, conveyed her sympathies with the words, ‘I’m sending you lots of affection.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I echo the sentiments expressed by my fellow reality star Jill Zarin: ‘I feel deeply saddened for you and your loved ones, sending an abundance of love and prayers.’ Similarly, the esteemed Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Shannon Beador extends her condolences with, ‘I am truly sorry!! Sending heartfelt prayers to your family.’

David Siegel founded Westgate Resorts back in 1982, primarily in the Orlando, Florida region. Today, this privately-owned company stands as the largest timeshare corporation globally and is among the top U.S. resort developers, with over 13,500 accommodations spread across its 22 properties situated nationwide.

Having served in the military, he generously provided over 28,000 free vacation trips to servicemen and women.

The Victoria’s Voice Foundation, established in memory of their deceased daughter, has been pushing for the duration of drug rehabilitation coverage to be expanded from the typical 30 days up to 90 days, with the aim of enhancing treatment results.

Additionally, the organization advocated to Congress for making Naloxone, a vital drug that reverses opioid overdose effects, more readily accessible nationwide.
