Lies of P Overture Prequel DLC Is Out This Summer, Features a Snowy Getaway
The upcoming Downloadable Content (DLC) for the game “Developer Lies of P” is titled “Overture.” This expansion brings a fresh, wintry atmosphere and is scheduled for release during the summer season.
In simpler terms, “Overture” is a precursor to the primary game, set in the town of Krat. The story unfolds when all the puppets lost control and began attacking everyone. If you’re unsure about this context, feel free to read our review of “Lies of P“.
The place appears quite captivating, boasting a museum showcasing a wooly mammoth, an antique submarine that could symbolize the whale or sea beast from the classic Pinocchio tale, all surrounded by plenty of soft, powdery snow.
The description reads:
Lies of P: Overture” is an exciting precursor to the highly-praised Lies of P, taking you on a journey to the city of Krat during its hauntingly beautiful late-19th-century Belle Époque era, just before the devastating Puppet Frenzy massacre. Accompanying the enigmatic Stalker, a mysterious guide, you uncover hidden tales and spine-tingling secrets.
On your adventure as Geppetto’s ominous puppet, you’ll traverse Krat and its environs, unearth concealed histories, and confront awe-inspiring conflicts that impact both the past and future of Lies of P.
Lies of P: Overture is out in Summer, 2025, on consoles and PC.
