In an interview with Hot Ones in 2017, the singer expressed his fondness for this iconic American dish by stating, “Fried mozzarella sticks represent the pinnacle of culinary artistry.” At that time, he admitted that his food preferences tend to lean towards the less complex.

Of course, fried mozzarella sticks were not the only food he has shared his love for over the years. And another menu item that he was a fan of was none other than KFC’s Original Recipe chicken. Although that was not the only chicken he opted for, as he did a Carpool Karaoke episode with James Corden and his One Direction bandmates and they went through a McDonald’s drive-thru. At the time, Liam opted for a 10 piece order of Chicken McNuggets.

Nevertheless, as of 2022, Liam Payne disclosed yet another preferred dish during the Future of Food event held in L.A. It was then when he expressed his fondness for a well-grilled cheese sandwich.
