Liam Gallagher might have to pay around £500,000 annually to support his daughter, following a temporary financial deal with her mother.
In 2013, Oasis musician Liam Gallagher had a daughter, Gemma, with American music journalist Liza Ghorbani. At the time, he was married to Nicole Appleton of the All Saints, and they are parents to a 24-year-old son named Gene.
Fifty-three-year-old Gallagher has never met his youngest child, who lives in the U.S. with her mother and is believed to have autism. He had been paying approximately £3,000 a month in child support until earlier this year, when the child’s mother requested a substantial increase.
A legal filing indicates a preliminary decision has been made about a payment amount, but this is only temporary until a final settlement is agreed upon.
The singer is currently on a very profitable 41-city tour with Oasis, reuniting with his brother Noel after years of disagreement. He’s predicted to earn around £50 million from the tour.
Okay, so I’ve been following this whole thing, and apparently, Ghorbani is trying to get a piece of Gallagher’s money! People are saying she’s demanding more, now that he’s had some financial success. It’s just… unbelievable! She’s really going after his earnings, and I can’t believe she’d do that to him!

According to a source who spoke with The Sun in March, Liza and her lawyers appear to be trying to get a share of the profits from Liam’s upcoming tour, which began four months later at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
He’s consistently paid child support willingly, but his ex-partner is now requesting an increase. This is adding extra stress to Liam while he gets ready for his tour.
Child support payments in the US used to end when a child turned 21, but a recent law change has extended that to age 26. This means Gallagher could potentially pay up to £7 million for his daughter’s care.
According to New York family lawyer James Sexton, Ms. Ghorbani needs to prove that Gemma is significantly disabled and unable to financially support herself, as he told The Sun.
This latest lawsuit was filed in New York State court following a private agreement made in 2015. Back then, Ghorbani was receiving £3,000 each month for child support.
This situation is putting extra stress on Liam, especially since he doesn’t even know Gemma. It’s just the latest in a series of personal challenges he’s been facing.
Problems started for Gallagher in 2013 when Gemma filed a lawsuit demanding £2 million in child support, forcing him to address whether he was the father of her child.
Gallagher received a fine for failing to appear in court, and he confessed he hadn’t seen his daughter, but said he’s willing to support her if she needs assistance.

The lead singer of Oasis has a complicated romantic history and is a father to four children with different partners.
He has three children: 27-year-old Molly from a short relationship with singer Lisa Moorish, 26-year-old Lennon with his ex-wife Patsy Kensit, and son Gene with ex-wife Nicole.
Liam Gallagher is engaged to his colleague Debbie Gwyther, who is 40, and seems to be in a happy and stable relationship.
Representatives for Gallagher and Ghorbani have been approached for comment.
