Liam Gallagher ‘faces fresh demands from love child’s mother to increase annual support fees to almost £500k’ ahead of singer’s predicted £50M payday for Oasis reunion tour
It seems that Liam Gallagher might be involved in another legal dispute, this time concerning an increase in child support for his offspring, as their mother makes such a request before the Oasis reunion tour commences.
It’s reported that Liza Ghorbani is negotiating a fresh deal with the 52-year-old singer, requiring him to cover approximately £500,000 per year as child support for their 12-year-old daughter Gemma, who has autism.
As reported by The Sun, Liam made a virtual court appearance on Monday. Meanwhile, his legal team countered Liza’s accusations of excessive spending and asserted that she aimed to profit from the Oasis reunion by overstating her claims.
Liam and his older brother Noel, who is 58 years old, are expected to earn a staggering £50 million from their eagerly awaited global tour.
It’s reported that Liza is seeking approximately $670,000 (about £495,000) annually from Liam as child support and costs for Gemma, which includes essential expenditures.
According to reports, Liam’s attorney, Judy Poller, stated in court that the child indeed has autism, and Liam is aware and understands the difficulties and pressures this condition may bring.

However, it’s important to acknowledge the truth: They require funds because Mr. Gallagher is embarking on a fresh musical journey. Specifically, he plans to go on tour, and they are attempting to profit from this opportunity.
Regarding Liza, she mentioned that she’s seeking a monthly rental property priced around $30,000 to accommodate a swimming pool, employs an annual live-in nanny costing approximately $100,000, and has a yearly vacation fund of $6,300.
‘These expenses are not appropriate. This was never an intact family that had a lifestyle.’
Amanda Creegan, representing Liza, argued in court that Gemma’s requirements weren’t being fulfilled, and that the hearing was about Liam not keeping his promise to contribute towards tuition fees beyond the agreed two-year period.
She added that the man famous for Wonderwall had never expressed a desire to meet Gemma, nor does he interact or recognize her, all while alleging he has fabricated the past payments he was supposed to make.
In my analysis, I too took note of Liam’s social media updates from March, which seemed to brand Liza as a ‘gold digger’. This observation aligns with Ms. Creegan’s findings.
Additionally, he appeared to label her as a “freeloader” and shared a YouTube video featuring John Lennon’s live rendition of The Beatles’ song “Money (That’s What I Want)” from his 1969 Toronto performance.
He additionally proposed that his actual child support payments exceed the reported £3,000 a month figure.
Writing on X, he said: ‘And it’s 300 grand a year not 36 grand a year get your SUMS right LG x.’
‘Approximately three days following her request for modification, he launched into a verbal attack, labeling her as a ‘gold-digger’ and falsely accusing her of extortion. He also lied about the amount he was paying her and breached the confidentiality agreement.’
It was revealed in court that since a 2015 judgment, Liam has paid over $1 million (approximately £738,000), and further agreed to contribute $240,000 (around £177,000) towards Gemma’s education and autism-related costs in 2021.
Under the supervision of Judge Jeffrey Pearlman, it was reported by The Sun that a private hearing has been arranged for June 13th. Liam indicated he would be able to attend, responding: ‘Yes, I’m available for that, anytime. Everything is fine, dude. It’s all good.’
TopMob has contacted representatives for Liam Gallagher and Liza Ghorbani for comment.
According to a reliable insider, it was reported in March that Liza had been demanding an excessive sum of money, supposedly exploiting Liam’s expected earnings from the Oasis reunion.
A source confided to The Sun, “It seems Liza and her lawyers are aiming to benefit financially from Liam’s substantial tour income.
Liam has consistently provided ample support for his child’s upkeep. However, lately, there’s a request for additional funds, which is putting extra strain on him as he gears up for the tour. This added stress is unwarranted for Liam.
The recent court filing, made at the New York Supreme Court, follows a previously undisclosed agreement that was settled in 2015.
Currently, Liza was being given £3,000 monthly as child support, however, it seems she’s aiming to increase this amount now.
In 2013, I found myself in an unexpected predicament when a lawsuit for child support, valued at approximately £2 million, was filed against me by Gemma. The situation arose due to a brief romantic entanglement with Liza in 2010, which I had long moved past. However, this past connection came back to haunt me as it turned out that Gemma was claiming paternity rights.
Liam received a fine due to his absence from the scheduled court appearances. He openly acknowledged that he had not yet met his daughter, but indicated his willingness to assist her whenever required.
Previously, the lead singer of Oasis has experienced a rocky romantic journey, having offspring from various partnerships.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m fortunate to have a multigenerational family that includes my daughter Molly, age 26, whom I share with the talented singer Lisa Moorish. My son Lennon, 25, is from my previous union with Patsy Kensit, and rounding off the brood is my son Gene, 23, a product of my relationship with Nicole Appleton.
Currently, Liam is betrothed to his fellow manager, Debbie Gwyther, who is 40 years old. It seems that he’s savoring a more stable and peaceful partnership with her.
