Liam Gallagher breaks silence on Oasis rehearsals during candid Q&A with fans as he gives a surprise nod to brother Noel ahead of reunion tour

During a Q&A session on X on Sunday, Liam Gallagher shared insights about the ongoing rehearsals of Oasis, and unexpectedly acknowledged his brother Noel in the process.

The notorious estranged siblings are gearing up for a comeback tour, marking the first time they’ve performed together in 16 years.

In addition to Liam and Noel, bassist Andy Bell, guitarists Gem Archer and Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, as well as drummer Joey Waronker, have been part of the rehearsals as well for Oasis.

Liam recently informed his 3.8 million fans that they are preparing like true professionals in anticipation for their first performance scheduled on July 4th.

He wrote: ‘Yesterday was deeply spiritual. We’re truly excelling, shredding it like pros. As professionals, there’s no room for drinking.’ (Informal and conversational)

During their preparations, another spectator wondered if they had been consuming alcohol from Guinness, but Liam responded by saying: ‘We work as experts. There’s no room for drinking in our schedule.’

In other locations, Liam confessed that he doesn’t usually participate in sound checks and revealed that he plans to pack his own luggage for the eagerly awaited tour.

Later on, Liam left fans in awe as he shared an emotional tribute about his sibling, whom he had a public rift with back in 2009.

He commented: ‘Noel is simply amazing. I find myself continually drawn to him; it may be necessary for me to seek a restraining order, as I can’t seem to resist.’

As they prepare for their eagerly anticipated Live ’25 tour, the guys have decided to replace alcohol with beer during their practice sessions instead.

According to a source familiar with the Gallagher family, Liam sips tea as a method to warm up his vocal cords. He feels invigorated and eager for the start of things.

‘Rehearsals have been electric and they’re perfectly in sync.’

Liam said previously that he never drinks before a gig, or the night before.

He said: ‘The voice don’t handle that any more.’

Last year, Noel, who is 58 years old, mentioned that he desired a respite from alcohol consumption and aimed to “attempt quitting alcohol.

In 2025, they’re planning to join forces again for a massive global tour, with confirmed performances in countries like the United Kingdom, America, South America, and Asia on their schedule.

It seems that, despite everyone eagerly waiting for their reunion, Liam and Noel still seem to have unresolved issues between them.

Or even more casually:
The long-awaited get-together didn’t manage to bury the hatchet for Liam and Noel.

Or in a more formal tone:
Contrary to popular belief, it appears that the much-hyped reunion between Liam and Noel did not bring about a resolution of their outstanding disagreements.

A person with a ticket for one of the concerts at Heaton Park stated that they plan to spend time apart after the performances.

According to their statement, while you may witness Oasis performing on stage, don’t expect to see Liam and Noel Gallagher together off-stage after the show.

‘Each of them had a VIP list where their friends and famous fans could buy their tickets.

However, the green room and after-party you’re invited to depends on which brother you received your ticket from.

It’s disappointing for those hoping to socialize with both of them, as it appears they are maintaining a certain aloofness or keeping their relationships somewhat detached.

Regardless of their individual entities, the pair appear to collaborate effectively. In fact, Liam shared with his followers that he has enjoyed teaming up with Noel once more.

Starting on July 4th at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the Oasis Live 25 tour will continue with packed performances at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

The Brit pop band will then head over to America, South America and Asia in 2025.
