Liam and Noel Gallagher share a kiss on the lips as they declare ‘I know my brother better than anybody else’ in Oasis video that reveals their restored bond

Liam and Noel Gallagher share a kiss on the lips as they declare 'I know my brother better than anybody else' in Oasis video that reveals their restored bond

As a die-hard music fan who has been following Oasis since their early days, this news is nothing short of exhilarating! I still remember the first time I heard “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and the profound impact it had on me. The raw energy, the catchy tunes, and the sibling rivalry that fueled their music made Oasis a band like no other.

The brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher, demonstrated that their relationship is fully repaired by posting a video highlighting their connection along with the announcement of Oasis’ return to live performances.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the Gallagher brothers will be getting back together and playing four massive shows at Wembley Stadium, with a tour of the United Kingdom scheduled for the following summer.

Following several weeks of mounting anticipation regarding a reunion, the Manchester legends have ultimately buried the hatchet after fifteen years of discord, to confirm that they will collaborate once more, thirty-four years since their debut performance.

In my excitement, I’d like to share that our band recently incorporated a video into our social media announcement, which has garnered an impressive 8 million views so far. Accompanying the post was a heartfelt caption: “Here it is, we’re making this happen.”

The video showcased performances from the band’s famous concerts during the ’90s and ’00s, along with behind-the-scenes footage captured on home videos.

Highlighting their contentious bond spanning three decades between Noel, aged 57, and Liam, aged 54, Noel remarks, in a voiceover, “We’re like two minds linked, if you catch my drift. I understand my brother more than anyone else.”

Liam adds: ‘When both come together you have greatness.’

Over the scenes showcasing massive gatherings at Oasis concerts, the siblings assert: “We stirred emotions that were indescribable. If I could live it all over once more, I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment.”

The video concludes with the statement: “Here it is, this moment is taking place. The feelings you evoke in people will be etched forever in their memories.”

On this coming Wednesday, it will be 15 years since Noel left Oasis, expressing significant relief, after a heated altercation behind the scenes in Paris. He stated, “I just couldn’t stand working with Liam for another day.”

Back in the ’90s, I found myself utterly captivated by this Britpop band that was making waves with tunes like Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger, and Stop Crying Your Heart Out. Over time, they grew to be one of the most influential acts in British music history, a status that remains debatable but undeniably significant.

But Noel and Liam’s relationship has kept them in the fame game long after the hits were written.

Following fifteen years marked by disagreements and walk-offs, Oasis disbanded during their last performance at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, following another heated backstage altercation.

According to reports an argument broke out, with Liam wielding Noel’s guitar around ‘like an axe’.

It was the last straw for the duo and the show was cancelled, along with the rest of the tour.

After his high-profile divorce worth around £20 million from former wife Sara MacDonald last year, it seems that the senior Gallagher has been convinced by the potential financial benefits and is now reuniting the band.

The improvement in relationships among the brothers and Noel being unattached isn’t merely a coincidence; it’s well-known that Liam has never been fond of Sara, who Noel married two years following the breakup of Oasis in 2009.

Liam playfully hinted at the comeback of the well-known Britpop group during his main performance at Reading Festival on Sunday. Later, he and his elder brother, who is 57 years old, disclosed that an announcement would be made on Tuesday morning, 8:00am, following a mysterious and identical post shared across their social media platforms.

At the main event in Reading, Liam played several tracks from Oasis’s first album, Definitely Maybe, as a tribute for its 30-year anniversary.

Here’s one way of paraphrasing it in natural and easy to read language: Announcing Half The World Away, a 1994 B-side which was also the theme for the sitcom The Royle Family. He addressed the crowd saying: “I’d like to dedicate this song to Noel, well, let’s just call it Gallagher.”

Liam carried on leaving fans puzzled as he dedicated his performance of “Cigarettes & Alcohol” at the Reading Festival to those who dislike Oasis.

The last single released from their 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe, was a song penned by his elder sibling.

Oasis has been promised a payday of £50 million to reform and embark on a global tour.

The staggering amount of money is rumored to have persuaded feuding siblings Noel and Liam to put their differences aside, a move that comes 15 years after their last joint performance.

Although there’s talk about Oasis appearing at Glastonbury in 2025, it seems they won’t take the stage at Worthy Farm. On the contrary, preparations are being made for Oasis to perform on different continents excluding Europe, starting from next year.

The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement as fans were sent into a frenzy.

Ticket sales for the band behind “Don’t Look Back In Anger” will start at 9 am on August 31 in the UK, and tickets for Dublin will become available at 8 am on the same day.

Fans of Oasis are calling it the “ticket chaos of the century,” expressing their determination to “fight” for getting tickets. Some are frustrated, predicting that it will turn into a “free-for-all” since there don’t seem to be any pre-sale options available, and it appears to be an open, general sale instead.
